Is it wrong to be mad at God? I think that everyone gets mad at him from time to time. I think it is normal. What do you say?
The only reason you get mad at God is because you don't kNow the truth. But She doesn't mind you getting mad at Her, She Loves you no matter what! Ribbit
It's perfectly fine. The Bible is full of stories of being being mad at God. Heck, the name Israel means "he who fightswith God."
Interesting comments. I never looked at God as a woman. I guess I have the typical image stuck in my head. And I did not know that Israel meant that. Thanks for enlightening me.
If one assumes that there is such a thing as a god then why must it be of either sex? and also who created god? what did god do prior to creating everything?
To me it does not matter if God is male or female. All I know is that there is a God. I guess we will not really know until we are united with him when we die.
You are INSIDE God now and God is INSIDE you. You don't have to wait till you die to reconnect with God, She's all around you, always. As to sex, We don't like calling God IT so We use a gender name to make it more personal and since God gave/gives birth to WE the Souls and to each and every galaxy one-at-a-time, that denotes female so I will call a gyrlfriend She, when She is a gyrlfriend. God is a Gyrlfriend! Ribbit
To each his own. I have always thought of God as a male. I guess we will not really know until we meet God at the gates of Heaven.
God transcends our definition of "male" and "female." Add to that the fact that the English language doesn't have a neuter personal gender (can you imagine calling a personal God 'it'). However, even though the Bible is quite clear that God transcends sex, the languages of the Bible (Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek) all overwhelmingly (although not exclusively) use the masculine for God.
I agree with you that God is always inside of me. But I will meet him or her in your case, when I get to Heaven.
Mad at god? I think that would be perfectly rational based on prior theist beliefs I have had in the past. Though, if you ARE mad, why does the opinion of others matter? If you're mad, then your mad. Be mad. Unless the bible entertains the thought of hiding your true emotions.
Good point you make. The opinion of others does not matter. And I do not think that the bible entertains the thought of hiding your true emotions so it is perfectly ok.
I never get mad at God. I couldn't get mad at God any more than I could get mad at Thor or Zeus. Or Harry Potter, or a unicorn.
