It's funny how many people said exactly what I said about Palin not knowing the term “Blood Libel” over the last week. I guess her reputation precedes her.
Sarah, the gift that just keeps on giving... ~Signed the DNC Sarah Palin Defends Use of 'Blood Libel'. Says criticism won't stop her from speaking out.
Sarah Palin, representing the "large field" of the fine republican candidates for 2012. Their best and their brightest. Brilliance and respect not seen since the shoe throwing days of their last exalted leader, the infamous Cheney puppet and war criminal, the disrespected and despised worldwide, George Bush. (the party's best available candidate at the time).
Well, Let's see how fair the press really is. I wonder just how critical they are going to be of the liberal use of "blood libel".
Right, it is always the people reporting what the Republicans say and do that are the real problem not the actual people saying and doing the things being reported. So when Palin opens her mouth and inserts her own foot, it must be the liberal press' fault for reporting it. And of course, every media outlet is a liberal biased news organization except of course Fox News. And Fox News doesn't lean heavily to the Right at all so they must be as "they" say "fair and balanced" because they said so. I heard Palin in one interview defending her single network affiliation by saying that she wouldn't appear at the "lame stream" media networks because they had a liberal bias against her. She had no problem however with a network that was biased towards her and she couldn't for the life of her figure out the hypocrisy in that position. The beauty queen that would be president. She reminds me of the Billy Crystal's impression of Fernando Lamas on SNL. A modern version might sound like this, "It is better to look good than to actually know anything". I would love to see this woman debate Obama in the next election. I would pay money to see that.
Hey, she kicked Biden's butt in the Vice-Presidential debate and Biden is at least half the ignoramus that Obama is.
Your ignorance is showing again. I figured you would miss it since you only listen to Media Matters and their kin. Straight from the congressional record; In case you need more help, Mrs. Palin was not speaking at the time - nor, for that matter, any other Republican.
It's a simple case of hypocrisy & discrimination on the part of dims. They bill themselves as the salvation for minorities. If a minority espouses the conservative way the libs & the dims are forced to vilify that person or risk having the scam they play on minorities exposed. Think about some of the racial quotes that leading libs & dims have been guilty of- Biden saying BO was "clean" (anyone familiar with the meaning will know how offensive it is), Reid saying BO could play to the public because he doesn't have "negro dialect", Clinton telling Ted Kennedy that BO was a joke and would only be qualified to "bring their tea" a couple of years ago. Palin, as a confident, conservative female, scares the crap out of the dims/libs. They know her message is resonating with women & they fear other conservative, minority figures will have equal impact with particular voting blocks. After all, what will the dims do for constituents when they don't have minorities to exploit? Once the cradle-to-grave mentality is gone what message will the dims have?
What is wrong, Mr. Moen. Facts getting in you way? My southern education showing? I guess you really don't listen to the right, do you?
Not the fringe Right anyway. Although I don't listen to the fringe Left either. But if you ever do come up with a "fact", I'll be happy to listen.
The problem with facts is that they cannot always be found on liberal fringe like Media Matters and MSNBC. Since I posted an exact quote of Rep. Steve Cohen read on the senate floor 1-18-11 (I believe since I cannot find an exact date) and you have heard nothing of it, I think you have pretty well made my case for me. Since you cannot be bothered to listen the facts (i.e. other than the left fringe), try this; First Read - House Dem compares GOP health care case to Nazi propaganda
Whether it's me drawing a parallel between Hillary Clinton and Hitler or Steve Cohen comparing the Republicans to the Nazis or Jerry Brown comparing Meg Whitman to the Nazis, the progressives will initiate a verbal barrage. So far, the progressives are silent on the Steve Cohen/Nazi and Jerry Brown/Nazi comparisons. But, let the barrage begin!
As far as I am aware neithr person has made any such comment on this forum perhaps when they do I will respond
You realize of course that while saying that facts cannot always be found on liberal fringe like Media Matters and MSNBC, you posted a link to this story on MSNBC's web site? You just shot your own argument in the foot.
