Please defend Palin

Crosshairs on the people....I would condemn that. On a map...I think that is just silly, even in this politically over reactive climate.

 

God I just saw Palin's robo speech. Does she make one want to puke or what? She's porkin' up too. What a crock of nonsense.

Here are some descriptors of you "political" killer;

"His thoughts were unrelated to anything in our world,"
"He was very disconnected from reality,"
"It was like he was in his own world."
"unnerving, long stupors of silence" during which he would "stare fixedly at his buddies,"
He warns of government brainwashing and thought control through "grammar."
He was obsessed with "conscious dreaming," a fairly good synonym for hallucinations.
"I remember him being incoherent."
"He would make a comment about someone's poem and none of us would know what he was talking about."

There is only one tie I can make to all that being political and I will let you use your imagination as to what (who?) that is.

Clearly Dr Moen & tomc want there to be a connection between this shooting & politics so perhaps one of the them- either one, it doesn't matter- will answer the question that has been posed numerous times: What shred of evidence is there to link Loughner with Palin, FOX News or Limbaugh? As far as I've heard, he has been described as "extremely liberal" and "anti-religion" by people who knew him best, hardly beliefs that would cause any sensible person to define him as being right of center. Most seem to believe he held a grudge against Giffords because he didn't think she sufficiently answered a crazy question he asked her a couple of years ago.
It would seem tom is using the same line here that he has used to defend some of his other illusions...reach a conclusion then "mold" the truth to make it fit your agenda...Dr moen and Dupik have been sucked right in by what they are fed on MSNBS & NBC.

If you can explain to the general populace why "Die, bitch", "I planned ahead," "My assassination" and the name "Giffords" make it political, please do so.

 

He targeted a political figure for assassination. Not murder, but his word assassination. If someone shoots you and kills you, it is murder. If someone shoots the president or any politician it is an assassination. When you have the shooter himself labeling his own act in writing as an assassination...how is it not political? Clearly, the first component necessary for anyone to go through with an act of violence such as this one is an unstable personality. That does not preclude it from also being a political act. They are NOT mutually exclusive in other words.

All you are able to argue here is what the dictionary definition or the open source definition is of one word. That isn't a counter argument at all. Words can be defined in any number of ways especially in an open source like Wiki. Who cares! The only words that matter are the ones Loughner used and how he intended them. Don't give me dictionary definitions and think that it passses for a counter argument. Tell me why calling this guy crazy precludes him from being able to also commit a political assassination. You've done nothing but dodge here. If this is all you have, bow out man, bow out.

I never precluded him from anything. You have precluded it from being anything but political. All we have one is ask for any proof you have that it is political.

 

Good news. Palin has modified her target, reload, second amendment rhetoric to include Jews, blood, and Christians. Oh happy day.
This just in....she will include in her next teleprompter robo speech references to mass disease, feeding people to lions and world population reduction. The right must be proud....so proud.

You're so full of yourself that you can't even argue logically. I said Loughner was crazy AND it was a political assassination attempt. You're the one that sees this as only a crazy person with no political bent to it at all. I see both and you obviously can't keep your statements consistent. Somebody please post the ABC news clip interviewing his friend since childhood. It prooves there were no political motivations, and he explicitly says the kook did not listen to talk radio or watch tv news. He was a kook and nothing more. I do not know why national news is not posting this, but the police in AZ have had him in the files since 2007 with a Giffords connection, long before Sarah Palin and the Tea Party.

If you try to connect Palin to this you are as deranged as the killer.
