There you go. The Editor and chief speaks out about the 2008 campaigns, while also getting in a shameless plug for her new book entitled, " Right is Wrong How the Lunatic Fringe Hijacked America, Shredded the Constitution, and made us all less safe (And what you need to know to end the madness)". Hmmmm. Can't believe I missed that one. Well, with her being in charge, there's NO WAY there could be any bias. LMAO!!

Just watch 5 minutes of the video. Please. That's all I'm asking. (If you can get through that much of it without smashing your computer in with a baseball bat.)

This is maybe the most out of touch human being in the World. Right up there with Oprah. You see, in my world, these people wouldn't be qualified to bag groceries. Wouldn't trust them. Would doubt their qualification anyway.

But, thanks to people like Moen, they have a credible existence and hold prominent roles in society. Scary, scary stuff!!!

Keep in mind, Moen would read that book and enjoy it. On the other hand, he wouldn't dare touch a copy of "Broke" for fear of it burning his hand!! On one hand, we have a man just presenting the real history of America and what can be done to repair it (dealing in hard numbers, logic, reality, actual quotes, and 50 pages of references to back it up.).

On the other hand you have this foreign b--tch spewing hatred and non-sense based on her feelings. Because there's no way she really has a clue about anything. She thinks she knew it all from birth! No need to look back or take time to study anything. Hey!! Just like Moen!

Juan Williams was on Fox News. O'Reilly was never on NPR. So lets shut up about media bias. There's always going to be some bias. Some sources will just be far more radical and extreme than others.

5:27 Interviewer: Do you get a sense that perhaps because a lot of the new media, that maybe the press is starting to understand that it has to have, "perhaps" a more balanced coverage?

Arianna Huffington: Well, the *problem* with the press has been, umm, it's idea of balanced coverage. You know? That's why the first chapter of my book is called "Equal time for lies". Because the press considers subjectivity, considering every side, uhhh.... presenting every issue so it has two sides.
*Even though it clearly only has one.* You know, the truth is often on one side or the other. It's not always to be found by splitting the difference. You know? On Iraq, on global warming, on evolution, on corporate responsibility... on many many issues. And that is one of the **PROBLEMS** with the media because it has made it much harder for the public, eh... to be presented with the facts."

Is this a Saturday night live skit? Oh. No. She's being serious.

So much of what is out there today is not news or reporting. It is just agenda based information. You don't really go to a place like Huffington post or listen to Rush Limbaugh for news or reporting. You either go to get your beliefs fed, or maybe for entertainment, but not for news.

That's the reply I get from you? Another completely mindless, defensive reply? Well, thanks for that. I know you put forth the maximum you were capable of in response, so thanks!

The quote is outrageous! It's almost unbelievable! But it's obvious why she gets away with it. So few people pay attention to her or her wannabe news source that it flies under the radar. Not enough people paying attention for it to even be news. lol

I thought she could have been much more subtle in answering that particular question. Why would someone in that position want to show all their cards? She could have just said she feels the media already is well balanced and left it at that. But that wouldn't have been good enough. That would not have had the affect of appeasing the radical extremists that actually follow her. Since there's so few, she may as well humor them and get her jabs in with some no-name journalist on youtube.

Just wanted to shine a little light on this supposed "news organization" for all to see, so we have a point of reference next time a link is posted to their garbage.

I'm sorry. When it comes to dealing with republicans, I do get kind of mindless. I have to in order to better understand the mentality.

    According to Tomclown,

    www.911truthnews.com
    &
    www.prisonplanet.com

are unbiased news sources. Read some news, buy some gold, have a great time.

It s not so much NO BIAS whatsoever. It is more going with actual reporting of news over the obvious agenda/personality driven interpretation of the news (Huffington, Limbaugh, Olberman, Hannity, etc).

AP, Reuters, even a lot of straight up news stories on CNN.com, bbc.co.uk, etc - as well as my local news - really don't push an agenda when reporting the news.

The problem is not finding news without bias, it is simply finding news. Nearly all of the "news" today really belongs on the op/ed page and the majority take it as serious news. About the only exceptions I know of are some of the local shows.

    Moen1305 Not Republican!

It's like Sarah Palin said, she won't appear on the lame stream media outlets that are biased against her. She will only appear on the ones that are biased towards her. She doesn't understand the hypocrisy and neither do idiots like Vess. She is the reigning queen of the idiots of America. Long live the queen and her throng of idiots.

Funny..I don't remember ever saying either weren't biased. One can convey the truth and be biased too. One doesn't negate the existence or importance of the other.

    TomC,
When the folks were calling me crazy for buying gold at $800 I admit I was scared and not sure about it. I am now pretty sure I made the right choice. I bought more at $900....a box of 20 PCGS Saints in 63 to be exact.........I dont feel so foolish now.

I won a raffle on Cointalk and got GDJMSP's pocket piece for $1100.....that was crazy money at the time.

'Don't worry about it', my patoot! It is inexcusable. The only way to make amends is to send each of us a gold Saint. ;)
