Criticize Obama? You're Fired!

I know you like those guys but the silence coming from them is deafening! Don't you remember being called "paranoid" when suggesting BO was exactly what he turned out to be? I do. I can't really say much about danr because he hasn't been very active since I've been here but clembo is much too hypocritical for my taste. He laments the name-calling yet is an active participant, he laments labels yet is the first to label....and his continued defense of BO?

 

What is wrong with that if you work for the executive branch? Obama is the president, like it or not, and can fire anyone who works under the executive branch of our government for reasons less than that because he is the top dog as I write. That can change in 12 but am beginning to have doubts if he keeps the lid on North Korea. There is a lot of under the surface intrigue going on that keeps the pot from boiling over.

 

I don't think she worked for the President, rather her non-profit worked with the administration.

Ahem, when I first joined PRWE there was and has been a lot of DanR as well as yourself. Somehow you forgot about that? You were both here before me.

Name calling. I will admit I have done it. I have admitted so before actually if you care to go back a Looooong time ago. I called you a buffoon David. Now I challenge you to find an example where I have done so in, let's say, the last year? I strive to keep myself above that level actually. Can you HONESTLY say the same?

Now for labeling. Please give examples. I'll give opinions but you are prone to label.

You goaded me here David because you hate me dude and like I said I'm good with that. Actually I'm BEYOND good with that.

So who are the name callers and labelers (is that even a word?) here David? Perhaps you should start a poll. If the few here that actively participate respond and give honest opinions I doubt I would be at the top of the list. If not, well, I guess it would be more like politics.

OK, all sarcasm aside I have to drift off topic (again) to address a few PRWE issues. I have already warned the "I can't read a long post before jumping to conclusions" crowd that there may be some reading involved in this. Take your time and sound out the words.

Let's go back to my PRWE Hockey team thread. It's only four pages and short posts but it really does say a lot about the members here.

There really wasn't a lot of brain surgery involved here. I set up a "game" using members as "team" players. Very few actually made the team because they have no concept of a team IMHO.
Many of those not on the team responded as I expected actually. Read it.

Now back to Jack's post.

Hey kids I'll readily admit that I do read PRWE but just choose not to respond. Why should I after all?
If my post is too long it's a "littany" if it's too short it's "you have nothing to say?".
Couple that with the fact that responding is akin to beating one's head agains a wall until bleeding. The responses are predictable because the same predictable members will respond.

I'm not into circle jerks be they left or right basically. I see a lot of it here. A thread that should go 2 pages turns into 5 or 6 (just like this one actually).

Clembo- You are mistaken, I do not hate you so please drop the clembo-as-victim act you play so well.
I didn't mean to imply you were any worse than any other member here when it comes to name-calling or hypocrisy, just that you are as guilty as everyone else.

 

Folks "disappearing" for a while is okay...we all have lives & need a break from the computer sometimes (by the way clembo, it appears danr hasn't posted in over a year so you'll have to excuse me for not remembering what he used to post)...what is funny or telling, depending on your perspective, is when folks remain active yet selectively ignore issues.
I'll give examples: dr moen has yet to comment on the recent elections or the fact that one of his lib idols- Alan Grayson- was voted out of office. Or that our lib members here haven't commented on Paul Krugman admitting death panels & higher taxes will be necessary to fund Obamacare in the future.
