Without the poor to exploit, there can't be any rich....though the inverse is what the right wing routinely spews.
Really? The rich get richer and stay rich and richer without the poorer class? Who's gonna do the actual work? The rich themselves?? Who are the rich gonna extract more wealth from? Other rich people? The problem I have with mega wealthy is primarily, what they do, rather what they won't do, to attain that wealth. Extreme wealth, by default, generates extreme greed, which in turn generates extreme corruption, and eventually, IMO, the destruction of the rest of society. The ultra rich will lobby and create rules and laws that benefit the ultra rich. That usually has the opposite effect on the non wealthy. Perhaps sometime in the past, there might have been a more moral, less corrupt cycle of exponential greed. I really don't know any more, but, as far as today..with today's smoke and mirror economy that has long since been fixable..frankly....our gooses are already cooked. Have been for some time now. Who cares whether the debt is 10 trillion...100 trillion, or 18 gazillion trillion...the numbers are phony and the debt, the economy, whatever...is no longer repairable. It's all fake....the wealth has long since been removed. The system itself is unsustainable...It's all smoke and mirrors....all virtually dead...and all the result of greed and corruption. We sold out to China long ago, and now even China is on the fringes of collapse. It'll all come tumbling down in the very near future. Rome has already burned again my friend..just most refuse to accept that reality.
PNAC may have fizzled out now that some light has been focused on them, but their ideology is still the core of the republican party's elite. The inside job of September 11, 2001 memories have fizzled too. Both issues existed, and most of the general public never originally realized or acknowledged either one of them. Doesn't negate the existence of either though. People are slowly coming around to the implications of both and their association to each other however, I hope. Better late than never I suppose.
If wishs were horses then beggers would ride. Dad gum that smacks of the truth even though that is an old nursery rhyme. Forty percent of the people pull the wagon and sixty percent of the people ride on the wagon. Lehigh I am a coin collector and love an NT bullseye coin but abhor an AT coin. To arizona jack, the old farmer saying is that even a blind hog finds an acorn once in a while. It has been years since I have posted a reply on PRWE and hope that I just did not offend anyone. lol
