So why pick on Las Vegas? Why not say "don't blow your college money on cigarettes"? Would anyone argue that Vegas has a bit more to offer than just casinos?

What will be left when there is no middle class?

Those that work.............. and those that expect someone one else to work for them!

So you dont think there will be people who do not need to work? Like the retired or the wealthy. You know those who now dont work. That sure is a simple plan.

Naive but not surprising either. The correct answer is the very, very wealthy and the very, very poor. There are plenty of models of this dynamic out there. Just look at any third world country and you can see what could quite possibly be the future of this country. People like you are always the last to see the train coming right at them. That’s OK, new societies always need the bodies of the old order to stand on to reach new heights. You'll serve some purpose anyway. Sorry for the drama but what can you really say to the sheep that they will understand. Baaaaaaaaa!

I will bet those are the same models that predict government can spend their way out of a recession. Funky theories, but............

...and how do these societies come about? Don't they usually start with a charismatic leader? One who "speaks" for the little people? The poor? The disenfranchised? Doesn't that leader also gobble up power & control along the way? Hmmmmm...sounds a lot like whom?

Another contradiction? You stated earlier in this thread that some of the wealthy will fall into the middle and some of the poor will upgrade. Now you say there will only be two classes. Oh thats right, you didnt say when this two class society of ours will occur. It could take place 200 years from now, huh? I'm just saying because you never gave a timetable. And dont some(any) third world countries have poor dirt farmers(the verry very poor) and land holders or sultan types(the very very rich)? As well as shopkeepers and sheperds? Where would the last two fit in? Certainly not very very rich. But not quite as very very poor as cripples and beggars, huh?
