I am heartened to see that he apparently has not sold out to the capitalist pig slave owning criminal industrial complex. My faith in my comrade is restored.

 

Here here....enough selling out has already been done in the name of the criminal industrial complex without having to resort to an attempt to become one of the exploiters. I know that's how "business" is conducted and I know cash is the cure for everything, including one's soul, but I'm hoping to salvage at least my soul. You all can keep the cash.

Tom I know from personal experience that Jack is a honest and a generouse person so for you to attack him (For offering to help you)without ever having any dealing with him other than on this forum I have to say borders on the peverse.
If you did not want his help then why not simply have said No thanks Jack but the offer was appreciated or similar Why the hell attack him? That sir I am sorry shows a true lack of manners.

As I stated earlier, tomc is the epitome of the entitlement society that we have to combat. Tomc suffers from severe class envy & instead of looking in the mirror for the reasons for his failures he wants to blame it on everyone else. He wants to take, take, take and runs away from the opportunity to do something for himself (even if Jack is giving him a bit of a boost). Now I'm sure if Jack had promised to come up with the idea himself, do all the leg work & foot the bill tom would have been all over the idea but Jack's mistake was in suggesting tom put forth some effort of his own.
BO would be proud of you tom, you exactly the kind of person he appeals to!!

Somehow I get the feeling that those are the exact same things he says about his work environment. You are substituting for the Boss and 'Sparky' and 'Spooky' (not sure exactly who he is referring to) are substituting for his fellow employees.

Dude, I offered to build you a freakin website for free !! I also offered to have a Limited Liability Corporation created and FILED for you, again at no charge. Those services are valued at about 3K.......Then, I even started to offer up viable suggestions for a way to sell your knowledge and advertise it on the cheap. I WAS trying to help.

My motive was simple. Take and angry Lib, and let them see that a small business can be created from an idea, some talent, and with some hard work, you can start profiting off of that said talent and work, hell, maybe even create cpl jobs along the way.


for what it's worth, I still think it is very viable, and with the 10th aniv coming up...if you had any smarts, you would think twice about this. My offer is of course off the table, but I am sure you can find a way to make it work.....if you are willing to put in the effort.
