Senator Lindsey Graham Wants to Trash the 14th Amendment?

Jailing lawbreaking greedy would be employers might put a dent in that wave if would be illegals didn't have some greedy lawbreaking wealthy employers giving them jobs because cheap labor is another way to become even wealthier, but I guess we don't want to impede "business".

 

Jail the exploitive employers. The largest percentage of the problem goes away. Again....extreme wealth is the root cause.

 

Yeah, wealth is the worst problem facing this country! I say let's eliminate all wealth, nationalize every business, strip away any benefit paid for initiative & hard work, force everyone to live in 3rd World conditions and require everyone to hold a government job....if no one was successful then no one would be a failure, comparatively speaking (except the liberal elites who would be calling the shots), right Toe? Make them all join Toe in the Libertarian party, put us all to work doing, what was it Toe, building turbines for the government? I think you're on to something, Toe. This new world order of yours would allow us all to live as you would like us to & we wouldn't have to put forth much effort...heck, why would you ever want to contribute or work a little harder? The government will always see that you're cared for & get exactly what it thinks you'll need. WOW, Toe, sounds like Utopia....or is it Cuba?

 

I said jail the lawbreaking employers that employ and exploit illegals for profit. By default, because it's against the law, that means ALL illegal worker employers.
I would submit that the lower tiers of society are already in a third world environment. Those tiers of folks are growing exponentially via corporate "business" (aka...crime).

 

It's of course funny how they right wing loons like to characterize the calling out of any bad behavior of private industry as being anti-free market, anti-profit, and anti-small business. Meat packers sending buses to Mexico to bus in illegals because they work cheaply and then claim "Hey! do you want to pay $10 dollars for a half chicken?" The entire time they are also squeezing the farmers and driving them out of business with required $300,000 poultry buildings and paying them about $18,000 a year. Their profits are soaring, illegals are pouring over the border, farmers are going broke, food is less safe than ever, and we get to be complicit by buying their products. But it is all good.

 

Yeah, and you have loony, far-out libs like Toe who actually calls for the eradication of Free Markets & Capitalism and people like Dr Moe who rush to his defense and try to re-direct the debate.

 

Lets be honest here if you realy wanted to as a country you could seal your land borders on both sides with ease, but would the ordinery American citizen react well to a Berlin wall type scenario, with minefields etc? Because in reality that is what it will take. Can you imagine how the flow would ease to a stop if they had to negotiate a 2 mile deep mine field with roving patrols on shoot to kill orders.
Then you could begin the enforced round up and repatriation of those living here, shoot anyone found to be knowingly employing a Illigal (guarantee they woudnt do it again)
Ok i know it sounds a bit off the wal but it would work.

Yeah like those who re-direct or otherwise evade the point that wealth and greed perpetuate the problem in the name of "business", laws are ignored and it gets blamed on the victims of the original greedy "business" blood suckers. That's great isn't it? Create the circumstances for those to perpetuate the crime, all the while exploiting the worker that's actually doing the work (and likely threatening and intimidating the poor slobs with deportation in order to keep them generating mega profit for literally pennies on the millions), get the right wing to spout that it's "all the lawbreaking illegals fault" (while ignoring any laws themselves). What a great gig! Crapitalism!
Jail the employers and watch the problem go bye bye almost instantly. (oh that's right....that wouldn't be as profitable...the wealth might spread to others and America becomes a better place for all......nah..can't have a common interest that all Americans own whose interests as a nation would be best served.....nah..the only "serving" goin on is imported champagne (probably made by slave labor)and creating even more slave labor camps for 7 cents an hour and calling them jobs....).

 

Well without the minefield you still have a more or less open border Peter, I am not advocating that you adopt these measures simply pointing out the effectivness of them if implimented

 

If all the employers are jailed, then where will we work? You seem be running from your earlier statement when you said we should all have jobs working for the government, making turbines (I guess you thought about that one, huh?).
Guess what, if you jail all the employers a whole new group will rise up & become the employers. Eliminate the new bunch & yet another will take their place. The problem is the successors will never be as good as the ones they replaced and that leads to what? Deterioration of the society. Now I know you're going to resort to your standard hyperbole now but try to think of it rationally.

 

At least it would create a lot of jobs, rounding them up and eliminating them LOL and plenty of oppertunity for those who wish to replace those eliminated

You would fit right in. You are completely full of **** and only care about your own agenda. I have no doubt that you would stop at nothing to reach your goals no matter how it affected others. You are as corrupt as they come, certainly you are qualified. Believe it or not Tom, if your were not such an ass, you would actually realize that many of us agree that the top levels of corporate America are just as corrupt as you say they are. We just think that the top levels of the government would be worse if given the power that you suggest.

 

I can comfortably say that being corrupt is NOT part of my nature. I only fire back when fired upon. Power...well if you can't give it to the government, as you claim, and we certainly give it to the corrupt corporate blood suckers, then who? Like it or not..mega corporations have all but destroyed the country. Sold out. Shipped out., downsized and cut, cut, cut to maintain and increase that profit margin regardless of the net effects on society. Hell...if corporate merging America went totally unchecked...we'd all be in deep doo doo. Hell....we already are. The world is collapsing around us...all compliments of that mighty profit factor for the wealthiest of society and to hell with the rest. I personally can't wait to see the rich start eating themselves after they suck dry all that is profitable.
Yes...jail is the only logical for our destroyers of society.
