Hey is this what you republicans mean by letting "the free market" decide? You know..the ones that get their panties in a bunch and cry socialism whenever poor folks get cut a break? This sheds new light on "Joe six pack" I'd say. (or was that Joe the plumber that wasn't a plumber?).
I'm thinking you pro corporate right wing apologists can explain this one to a lazy, whiny,
socialist welfare recipient like myself. Davey? Answer before you cut and paste. Ok?

To my way of thinking...the fact that corporations exist at all is the antithesis of a 'free market'. Corporations are government created entities granted special priveledges by legislation and then regulated by even more legislation. On the face of it, that doesn't sound very 'free marketish' to me.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't this so-called monoplozing of the beer industry just happen recently? Well after Reagan not only leave office but passed away? And aren't the examples you gave examples of international corporations? Sounds like you are saying Reagan, from his grave, has influence over international commerce. Is that your point?

My point is your party members are simply hypocrits going back to Reagan. Far as aspects of the monoplies by Anheiser Busch for example, you'd have to check with someone like Cindy McKean, you know, the wife of the republican party's last presidential candidate who has Mega wealth from stock interests in the monster conglomerate. You know, the one they ditched (supposedly) their stock interests in as to not have it look like the candidate was not a mega wealthy corporate player THAT DIDN'T KNOW HOW MANY HOUSES HE OWNED. That guy. Reagan began the privatizing of profits and the socialization of the losses, which I thought the link explained fairly clearly. I know it doesn't fit with your pro rich agenda, but try not to spin and twist things every once in a while. You hate Obama. You love the rich. You love corporations. You love the republicans. I got all of that. By now everyone knows my point of view is 180 degrees out of phase with yours. Those are the points I have to share in this post Spinster.

You may want to check your checks (if that even matters to you). Her family owns a beer distributorship, not the entire AB company.

I'm sorry. Couldn't remember that or how many houses I have either.

Yep, never let facts get in the way of a good rant against individual achievement, huh?

Ok, everybody listen up...if you own more than 1 house, you gotta give one of 'em up. Give it to someone who does not own a house- afterall, home ownership is a right , right? Oh wait, we tried that once didn't we? Whole lotta foreclosures was the result, right?

Yes...by all means...collect houses like baseball cards and hoard them away. True wealth can't be bothered with a pesky thing like actually knowing how many houses you own. Certainly...true wealth only hoards. Give nothing away. That's how they got to attain MORE, and as the corporates know, MORE is all that matters. That's the capitalistic, corporate way.

Bravo Davey. I'm understanding better why you and your royal party strive to step on the common man. MORE is less. More for you...less for everyone else. After all...YOU, and those like you, are all that matter in the world.

Cheerio Thurston. Pip pip and all that.

If collecting houses is what someone wants to do, why should it bother you? Why should you care at all? It's not like the collector is trying to take yours, is it? If someone wants "more" that doesn't automatically mean "less" for you, does it?
You bash folks that you deem to be wealthy & think anyone who has accumulated wealth has done so at the expense of someone else. That's insane thinking...thinking that has evolved (de-volved?) from the promoting of class warfare and the selling of the "benefits" of a world of entitlements. Us vs Them?If the end goal of an entitlement is to raise people up, why do you hate those who have risen? I can assure you that when you wake up in the morning & job security or the bank account balance aren't cause for concern there is a whole lot less stress in your day. Isn't that the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that every social program, politician promise, etc tries to deliver?

Because today...currently...the way our system is construed, the middle class quite simply, are being crushed on a scale exponentially multiplied in the last decade....crushed from things like Wall street, and all of the other excesses..the 'smoke and mirrors', if you will that is the result of the collective greed and corruption that is the direct result of corporate America today. The ratio of top income greedsters vs. their the rest of society has to stop. Someone who "collects houses" burdens future generations with their greed, to the point now where it's not likely it can be fixed without total and complete collapse IMO.
