Your right DeOrc health care reform...... NOT health care takeover.…big difference. His approval ratings were about 70% then vs. 40 something now…..big difference. The majority of Americans do not want the government to takeover a sixth of our economy.

Again the mandate was for reform not takeover.

One Big difference in living wills is the patient signs his or her wishes about end of life issues. With DEATH PANELS some elitist socialist politician makes those decisions for YOU.

Really, because the latest poll has 49% for the health care reform law and 40% against. So much for the much vaulted claim that the American people don't want this law. Of the 40% that didn't want this law a good 15% or more wanted a public option or a stronger health care reform law. They didn't want what the silly Republicans claim in any way. Right wingers! You just have to talk slowly enough to keep them on board.

 

Al Sharpton got it right when he said , you elected a Socialist President, what do you expect ?
People had no idea what a socialist really was. They wanted a better America, not a nanny state. They were for a first black President, they did no research on the mans back ground. Ultimately a generation of people who knew nothing of politics or political science made the choice.
The health care is much more important then to let it be thrown together with massive buy offs in the process. Those are not added to the cost.

Every thing can come back to heath care. All the bill of rights could come under scrutiny using health care as a basis.
A group of socialists wrote this bill to make it complicated . It makes the country uneasy not knowing what it really contains.
Socialists ,Communists and Fascists are all a bit different but all have a common denominator , They do not work for the masses. They favor the elite . They have never in recorded history worked for any amount of time with out mass destruction of the population and social net works . With out FREEDOM, North Korea and their ilk would be the norm. Until you have witnessed a closed communist society, you have little understanding of what you have. Even a good read on Stalin and Mao will be a wake up call.
Pol Pot killed 20%+ of the entire nation of Cambodia. When they no longer had the physical strength to work because of low food rations they would take them out at the end of the day , tie their hands behind them, and put an AX to their heads. Hence came the killing fields. This was not close to Stalins , Mao and Hitlers numbers.Some of the larger countries killed more then the entire population of Cambodia by two or three times in raw numbers.
Be careful what you want, you may not be able to recover from a regime that runs all facets of your life , and DEATH. It can happen any where, start rationing food and water.

Why is it that the extreme Right in this country is always throwing around terms like socialism, communism, death panels, Hitler, Armageddon, government takeovers and any other extreme rhetoric that clearly overstates the reality of the situation? Some just refer to it as fear mongering while others see it as fomenting terrorist behaviors that have been by no means unheard of in this country.

Given that we live in a civil society and the fact that these predictions have been made routinely in the past, the likelihood of such an extreme turn in this country political course seems pretty far fetched. So why do these extremists adhere to such nonsense and inflammatory rhetoric when our own history has proven again and again that none of their extremist predictions ever come true in the end? Are they just that easily scared into an irrational frenzy?

All you have to do is read some of jth’s, pepperoni’s, and david’s posts to see all the crazy nonsense that has not and never will occur in this country to realize just how out there these people are.

The party of JFK is being taken over. Acorn is reinventing their organization, SEIU ,deals with service workers who like the auto workers have been lead down a path to nowhere .
You are afraid you will not be able to deal with what is deep with in your mind. What do I do now ?.
You want some of that" OBAMA MONEY" , or do you want a job that was created in America for Americans , by Americans.
What if this takes to the streets, what will you do. History tells us we had a Civil War. It can happen.

I believe in psychological terms this behavior of yours is called projection.

Thus, it involves imagining or projecting that others have those feelings.

Your irrational fear is forcing you to project your feelings onto others. Seek professional help.
