When President Bush was in office I constantly read exactly the same thing but then it was you hated your country if you did not support the President and his policies, now that you have a new President (A Democrat) it's oh well you dont have to support the President (Unless he is a Republican) to Love your country and the Constitution. Are you honestly trying to say that only Republicans love the United States of America? Is that your bottom line? Perhaps you would prefer a single party state that way no one would be allowed to disagree with your views? All of a sudden any policy put forwards by the President is Unconstitutional!! how about those put forward by previouse Republican administrations, they were all fully constitutional I take it??
So now you rail against folks who you perceive stand to inherit money? Let's add that one to the list.
I've said it before & I'll say it again....the solution is to sever all ties between where you work & your healthcare insurance. Open the system up to competition then it's up to the individual to find the coverage that best suits their own needs. It works for every other type of insurance, doesn't it? Competiton & enpowerment are the keys, not government control & bureaucracy. Any other suggestions out there? It should have been a tip-off that BObamacare was bad for the country when Rahm Emmanuel goes on record as saying "pass anything".
Honestly, no. I never identified myself as Republican. The republican party left me years ago. To much spending for my taste. No, I do not support fascism. The two party system works rather well. When you have opposing views from each side of the aisle you get gridlock. Well when your talking about massive spending bills then gridlock is a good thing. All administrations policies past, present, and future should be scrutionized to the law. Bottom line: I love my country and the ideas and principles it was founded on. Is it perfect, no. Is it the best thing going, hell yes. I will support any person that holds these values dear and speak out when any person tries to tear them down.
OK I will jth. It's still you. All you did here was rail against "lefties" like me when you, in fact, don't know a damn thing about me. This shows how shallow you are. Have you ever bothered to read way back. Did you know I have voted Republican, Democrat AND Independent? Of course you didn't because that would show you that at times I might actually agree with you on some points. You talk a tough game dude you call people "pansies". Wow you are one rugged individual! Do you drive to work? Where did the roads come from? Ever been glad there's a police force? How is money raised to pay them? Proud of our soldiers? Do they foot the bill out of pocket? Dude, if you're gonna talk so tough and insist on name calling you go little boy. Problem is that it's real hard to take a guy like you seriously. Name calling and stereotyping show a lot about you as a person. The hiney remark apparently bothered you. I'll get over it. There was a little party going on over here how no lefty would dare respond. Oooh... you're so bad. I responded and you just can't take it can you little boy.
I'll give you credit for giving an answer and an idea. Like many things, the idea looks great on paper. Where it gets lost is when huge insurance companies gobble up the others. Personally I haven't had a job give me insurance for some time. It's also too darn expensive to buy it. This is where it gets messy. So, as we know, the Obamacare thing isn't exactly moving forward. In the meantime we're still in the same situation. So HOW and WHEN is it really solved. Is it solvable? I know you don't like Obama. Really I HAD noticed. So let's say a Repo is in office next term (hey one that I may have even voted for) and nothing is done. People get restless so we get Obama again or even, in many people's minds, worse. How long can this cycle continue? The country is well on it's way to being torn apart from the inside as it is. Believe it or not I don't see all corporate America as greed, greed, greed. Nor do I see every person that is not quite making it as a loser that doesn't work hard enough. There's a fine line and the finer we walk that line the more people get peeved off. It's happening believe me and happening from many different fronts and ideologies. It scares me honestly.
Damn, did I hit a nerve Clembo? Up until this point, no I had not went back and read your past posts, so let let me apologize for calling you a "lefty". Your posts do demonstrate you do look at both sides of the issue and we do agree on alot. I'll try and refain from the name calling but have your ever heard of "the pot calling the kettle black".(past posts and present one). Glad you got over the heiny remark since you mentioned it first. Do you all really get together and discuss how and who should respond to a post from "a stupid shallow little boydude"? Q &A: 1)yes 2)tax dollars from county, city and state government this way you do have a little more accountablity to ther efficiency 3)yes 4)same as q#2 5) Very proud of our soldiers. And I believe that the majority of the national income should go to them and the defense of our country. Where you are wrong is I can take and if you must, bring it on, but I would much rather discuss issues bringing me to this and I'm glad you brought up: Read the preamble of the Constitution it clearly states that federal government should "provide for the common defense" but only "promote the general welfare", not give, not take from others, not steal, not mandate. So Clembo tell me why when I bring this up all those members that are a little off-(opposite of right)- center go running under a log and wont respond? Ask your little party this and get backto me, you manly man.
