From what Stu posted, it looks like Obama spent twice as much as McCain to confuse and inundate the masses with their propaganda. Where do you think all that money comes from? BTW, don't you think it's sad that a country needs to spend 770 million dollars on a single campaign for one man, for one election? Is that not excessive? Don't you think a qualified candidate should already be pretty well known and should be talked up by word of mouth for free?

You want to know what's wrong with following polling data? It depends on what the issue is. But for the most part, people want somebody that has at least SOME conviction on the issues. A REAL person, with values. So people know what they're voting for at least!!
Somebody that needs to rely on polls for everything is not a leader. They are flimsy. Two sided. Untrustworthy. Remember Kerry's campaign? You probably voted for him.
He took the anti-gun stance his entire career. Then when polling data showed it was hurting him, they turned him into Elmer Fud for a photo-op. Using an over/under of course. So he could still revert back to his true colors if elected and ban every semi-auto and pump under the sun and still have an aliby. So predictable. Regaurdless of your oppinion on the issue, that was a smoke screen. Put up because the elections can be very close. It was done in the hopes of fooling just a few more numb skulls into voting for him. Is that an honorable thing to do? Thankfully, it failed.

Yes, I agree with everything you say about Bush. Fine. His approval rating was 13% by the time he left office. I really don't know who you think you're preaching to. There's agreement there.

My hope, was that we could leave it behind and procede forward with a good president. Not take a step backwards, which I feel we have done. I feel we have wasted 4 years because people are lazy.
But some people have convinced themselves that we're better off now. That there's still hope. Hope, hope, hope. Always more hope. What happened in the first 100 days? How much time is needed to determine what somebody is about? Should we still be hoping 2 years from now? Am I rushing my expectations for any sort of results?

There should always be hope. Hope should never be out of the picture. I'm always hopeful that this country can regain its stature in the world. That it can again be great. Why would anyone give up on thier country?

We just got rid of a leader that had "conviction"...so much so that he ignored almost everyone else. Personally, I don't want a leader that ignores almost everyone. How much time? The republicans sat on their hands for two terms. Look where we're at now. That didn't occur over the past ten months.
I think you keep trying to "paint" me as pro democratic. I'm not I assure you. I AM anti republican. I admit the democrats wind up the beneficiary of that stance...but I didn't make up the rules. It's like tilting the scale one direction or another. I agree it's ridiculously sad 770 million has to be spent for one party or another. What are you supposed to do? Not outspend the opponent and let them win? I don't have the answer there. Corporate=republican=$$=soon to be near slave labor.
That's what my life experiences have shown me. The republican party has never had me or folks like me as their representative. Corporations, the elite, are clearly their cohorts in crime.

You have to impose some sort of limit to the amount a candidate can spend on a campaign the money spent on your last election to put it bluntly was disgraceful. I honestly do not know how either candidate can justify it.

That can't happen. That'd allow honesty to be introduced.
How could the lobbyists purchase the corporations rape and pilfer polices that way? Money buys any thing and any body.

The DIEBOLD corporation awarded criminal George his appointment via daddy's corrupt influence, and immense voter fraud. Premiere Election Systems., (seems Diebold got a bad rep and they're hoping their new name change will help raise stock prices and erase any possible memory of voter fraud by the brain dead general public) will be the next sponsor for the republicans in 2012.
Fox news reports that the next presidential election will be fair and balanced through escalated corporate corruption and compulsory manipulation of any actual facts...should they leak out.

Another one of your broad conspiracy theories? Diebold, the Supreme Court, FoxNews....who else?
Hey, if you get stumped you can always ask Cheech & Chong for advice!

Simply google Diebold fraud. Very easy to research though I know looking for facts isn't one of your pasttimes. Supreme court is A NO BRAINER. Fox news?
    No conspiracy there...just fraud.

Hey, maybe the same people who cut through the support beams in all those buildings in NYC (then went back & repaired them) are the same people who tampered with those "chads" on the ballots? Something for you & Paris Hilton & Woody Harrelson to talk about, huh?

Well..that certainly is one possibility. That's brilliant.. You're a member of Georgey's family, aren't you? I recognized the same type of "misspeaks"...
similar thought processes. Sarah Palin might be interested in having you explain the Bush doctrine to her.. maybe run for office. Good money in it I hear.

Run for office. I doubt it. You have to be able to raise $750 million to get in the door now. Just ask the current Pres. ;)

...and be willing to submit yourself to the will of the Soros', Ted Kennedys' & Nancy Pelosis' of the world. You also have to be willing to lie & pander, etc

I don;t know.... I give him credit for one thing. He manages to make the ultra-democrats almost as mad as he makes the republicans. lol

Well George taught us all how to lie so we're good there anyway.:D

The house of cards is collapsing as people on both sides are seeing exactly what we got when this inexperienced novice wormed his way into office.

I'm just glad the majority of America chose him rather than having daddy's co-conspirators having to "appoint" him as President.

I think 'spent his way' into office is probably more accurate than 'wormed'. Maybe a new book title...730 Million Reasons I Am President. ;)

Yes and when the right does it...it's called "America".
