Boy in a Balloon~

Honestly I haven't been reading this until I found it on my email page but I have heard talk about it.

Nice hoax that cost the taxpayers well over $10,000 the way I read it.

Yes, what a joke. This guy should be tar and feathered. I guess 15 minutes of fame(having been on a reality show about trading wives on ABC)wasnt enough for him. I'm glad it backfired. And I hope he gets the book thrown at him.

Thought 1...the media was manipulated by a pretty dubious hoax. Did anyone see the balloon? Did anyone really think there was a kid in there? The media ran with a pretty poor hoax and gave it wall to wall to wall coverage and exposure.

Thought 2...they probably will get a reality show since it was found out about. If it had never been revealed as a hoax, they probably would have been forgotten in a week or two.

I am not sure which would be the worse indictment of our current society. lol

I can't believe a mother and father would make their own son lie about something that could have been such a tragedy!

 

The tragedy is having them as parents.
