    ?

One would have thought so. His ideology is getting in the way of being a true, and good first black American President.

His total lack of experience & qualifications (as well as no core beliefs & a blind adherence to what the teleprompter tells him to say) are obstacles as well.

Obama is a professional campaigner, nothing more. Now that he has taken the highest office he doesn't know what to do- which is why he is continuing to campaign but not offer any specific solutions. He's in campaign mode & it's not going to change. The training and indoctrination that he has rec'd from the Soros', Kennedys, Ayers & Wrights of this world set him up to get elected but without any core beliefs & values or real world experience he is lost as to what to do until the next election campaign gears up.

Now you equate the Kennedys with Ayers? Didnt one of them die in WWII? I guess to you he died to prove his hate for America. Wait, there was another who served in WWII. Who was he trying to fool? What is a core belief anyway? Is it a belief that you have, and any vacillation from it gets ridiculed by you?

    Wow.
With his sass and attitude, he'll never get to stay in the main house.

Thankfully, he is going along with this health care thing so he can still be considered a black President. Because we all know that you can't vote against health care and call yourself a black man.

I find it revealing that you have the need to reference Obama being a "black man" versus simply "a man".

Maybe you should pause & think (oops, sorry, I forgot who I was responding to), I'll go very s-l-o-w-l-y. I was referring to Ted Kennedy...the Kennedys who served/died in WWII probably weren't much of an influence on Obama, do you think?

That was a direct reference to the racial quote that Jesse Jackson recently threw into the healthcare debate. The entire second sentence was his words. I just retyped them for effect.

But, yes, I thought it was odd (maybe revealing) that he had to reference the term "black man" too.

I suppose I could have said typical black man. Oh, and that would have been a play on Obama's "Typical white..." quote from the election... in case I have to spell that out for the viewing audience too. ;)

You did a nice race card play, though.

Whatever....referencing that he's black, white or purple, hasn't a damn thing to do with anything. Jesse Jackson is a racist...to me that's obvious, in the same way that it's obvious that if you have to point out a particular color, that's just as obviously racist. It's a cheap shot that's used to try and appeal to the user's "base" so to speak, when they can't think of anything else to say. Simply describing the President and his policies is adequate. One thing hasn't anything to do with the other until someone injects it, then people's predjudices come out, which helps noone...and God knows we all have them.
They are born of our life experiences and somewhat unavoidable and they vary, depending on those experiences, but they serve no good purpose, especially on the current world stage.
I think referring to Obama as the president and Bush as the criminal is perfect. I think that says it all.

That was my point in quoting his 'Black Man' statement in reference to the 'Black President' term used here and opening it up for discussion. It seemed an odd statement just as Pepperonis "being a true, and good first black American President" seemed an odd statement or Danr's apparent contention in this thread that being the First Black President was apparently a Big Deal and Nobel Worthy Event.

Of course, I already know a white guy opening up any discussion of race is going to be automatically labeled a racist but that is par for the course in liberal circles and really doesn't bother me. I am comfortable in my own skin, so to speak. ;)

I've not yet in my life met anybody who isn't racist to some degree, but I can guarantee that it isn't limited to "liberal circles". My point is that it isn't relavent.
Being a criminal while being president is...hence...our current situation after 8 years of it.

I am not sure everyone is racist. That is a pretty strong word and seems like a belief system to me. I think everyone prejudges (are prejudice) in various situations though.

For the record, when I criticize the president, I am criticizing the white part of his ancestry. The left has reminded us that if white people criticize the president, they MUST be a racist!

I just want to be clear on this. :D :D :D

I'm not the one who wrote ''Kennedys'' in your post. That was you. See above where you wrote 'the Kennedys that served...'' Isnt that plural? Thats what you wrote in the post I commented on. You wrote the Kennedys. More than one. And Obama was influenced by JFK also.
