maybe this will help you get it. These are simply bad and unAmerican people, period, any spin like your "Flag Pin Politics" comment does not lessen this fact.

Obama is in power & calling the shots now. At what point does he become responsible for anything? Didn't he get elected based on his promise of "change"? We're coming up on a year now of Obama rule & we still keep hearing "Bush's War"..."Bush's Economy"...well, he asked for it, he got it. Now's the time for him to step up & deliver- or is that asking too much?

Nope. Sorry. It is still wrong. Plain and simple....It was not an American Failure.

Before the President went over there America didn't really care (and neither did the news services). It only became an issue (and a major news event) when the President stepped in.

Like I said, it would have only been a Chicago Failure had the President not made it a political failure.

The President stepped on his political tallywhacker and now the liberals are playing flag pin politics. That is the reality.

The Republicans have taken ownership of pretty much all of the nation's problems with their obstructions. By blocking Obama's solutions they are signing their own death certificate.

    Obama's solutions?

C'mon, be real at least. We BOTH know that is not true.

Just a question...are all "rednecks in training" republicans or is the stereotype inaccurate?

Blocking? Democrats...I mean the socialist party have a filabuster proof senate and control of the House by a large margin AND B.O. is in the White House.

Solutions??? More government and move taxes are now 'Solutuons'??

    Good luck with that.

Well the repubs certainly did a bang up job and left us in great shape, didn't they? Their monolithic view is tax cuts for the rich and raising minimum wage is a bad idea..same ole, same ole.....not much different I'm afraid.

That is how it will be played during the midterm elections (and it will work).

It HAS gotten silly beyond belief. Why are these extreme, extreme Right wingers so anxious to see America fail at everything? I wish that the moderate Republicans that used to control to GOP would find their voices again. They seem to be standing on the sidelines waiting out the destruction of their own party. We need at least two political parties in this country, not one and one party that is opposed to everything.

Dont we still hear Vietnam as Johnson's war? And it took Nixon six years to get us out of it. Shouldnt the repsonsiblity of a war go to the person responsible for it? And how does Obama call the shots now? He isnt in absolute rule. Now remember you said ''he calls the shots now''. No one else said it. It was you. Where did you get the impression that whatever this guys says goes? Names some things, where he called the shots and everyone capitulated.

I did not vote Republican in the last election so maybe I need more training. lol

But, most people down here are Republicans. In reality, they are probably Libertarians but they just don't know it. That is true of a lot of conservatives, really.

Ah, my point exactly!!! Thank you, thank you thank you!!

THis guy has the White House & his party contros the House & the Senate, yet he still can't get anything done! Now I ask you, with all of the votes and the power in his corner WHY CAN'T HE GET THE VOTES HE NEEDS TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING? ANYTHING? How long will you sheeple, cliff jumpers, kool-aid drinkers, whatever allow him to fade the heat? He promised change, right? Where the hell is it?
I'll await your excuses, err, I mean answers.

Now this is quite strange some time back I pointed out that he had no guarentee of getting the votes from the Democrats in the chambers and was told in no uncertain terms that they would obay Madam Pelosi!! yet now I am seeing posts that say well no after all the Democrats can stand up for themselfs and are not rolling over to support President Obama without question LOL

Rock-solid proof of just how bad this presidents policies & ideas are....he can't even garner enough support in a Congress that is stacked solidly on the democrat side.

So, explain to us again how the Republicans can block anything.

Lets see David I NEVER SAID THEY COULD BLOCK ANYTHING DID I!! What I did say that he coudnt guarentee support when others here were saying how he had it all sown up that no one would dare to disobay orders from Madam Pelosi with elections comming up and all that LOL
What I think it is actualy ROCK SOLID PROOF of is that those elected Democrats actualy have minds of there own and are not simple party hacks as has been said here previously :D

    Hey Jack!

You must be an extraordinary person. I have never heard anyone in any forum I've ever been to admit that their perspective has changed one iota. I believe people are generally good and most of us are good Americans and we all want this country to do well.

I dislike politicians for the most part but the alternative to politicians is big business which I like even less. I see no difference between career Republicans and big business and the difference between career Democrats and big business has become less and less.

It is we, the middle class, that are getting screwed from all angles these days and we have little power to fight the big money interests that run this country. It should never come down to middle class Republicans against middle class Democrats because that dynamic keeps us divided and keeps our focus off of the real crooks destroying this country. We don't have a democracy as much as we have a Plutocracy in this country.

What point? You said Obama calls the shots. You said it. Are you some mental patient with internet access? You say the half truths and hyperboles and down right lies for your own gratifacation. And when someone calls you on them you act like you never said it or edit thier posts or just make crap up to justify your blabber. Thats what psychos do. You come on here like some politico but you dont know anymore than the average person. Sometimes even less. A standing President doesnt call the shots. That would be a dictator. I know you think the guy is a dictator. But he isnt. Why dont you for once be a man and stand behind your asinine statements? Answer a question forthright for a change. Stop acting like a sissy. Have a nice day.
