My bad on the date this was done everyone. Wasn't intentional but I realize I took the date the guy that posted it joined and not when it was posted. My mistake and I admit it.

The parents were told in advance of this, allowed to read it and give their consent. Even I am not real good with that but is it any different than a kid hearing how much his mom or dad HATES Obama everyday at home?
Twist it how you want but kids pick up a lot at home.

Anyone care to refute that? The kids across the street have a great affinity for uttering profanities. I wonder why? Might be because I hear it from the parents on a regular basis

The school that did this was observing Black History month from what I understand and actually I have a problem with that as well. Why not Native American history month or Caucasion History month?

Know what else? The principle of that school has received death threats because of that song. I'm sure the people issuing the threats are great role models if they have children. It only makes sense. You don't like something someone says then threaten to kill them.

Some kids sing a song at school that is, as far as I know, not in the top 10. Parents may be lefty as hell that's why they said ok. Far as I know it's not replacing the Pledge of Allegiance. Am I good so far?

Perhaps this should all be shared with the children as well. You know a reality check as to what AsH hole$$ grown ups can be.

What's with the "cliff jumpers" anyway? Is it the newest catch phrase from some radio personality? Amazing that I hear all of these phrases while those that use them so often can't look in a mirror and see they are what they call other people but from a different point of view.

You are confusing issues here, now aren't you? What is wrong with simple curiosity? I think it's normal to be a tad bit curious to know what someone is going to say when they address your kids, don't you? Re-read every other post I made concerning this subject. Did I stutter? From the beginning I said my problem was with the curiculum (read: indictrination) that Obama wanted THE SCHOOLS to administer after he made the speech. Obama, or at least his handlers, are a bit too cunning to be overly overt in the indoctrination process...no, they want it in the schools so that the masses will confuse it with everyday school activities. See, if you will be honest with yourself, you will see how trully incideious this is. It is so subtle that several of you guys dont (or won't) even see it.

 

I would hazard to say that if any other president, politician, public figure, etc had this going on everyone here would be up in arms. It simply proves that Obama's myth & cult of personality transcends common sense, any that's scary.
You know, I've said it before....study the guy as he relates to our countries history, celebrate his accomplishments (when one actually occurs), respect the office, whatever, but don't blindly worship the guy.

 

Uhhhh...maybe they didn't want it to get out? Maybe they tried to cover it up as long as they could? Maybe they knew how the public would perceive it?

By the way, just caught the tail end of this but someone may have heard the whole story- apparently the teacher responsible for this resigned before it made the national news. Like I said, I didn't hear the entire story but it was a local reporter who was being interviewed.

 

Simply amazing how those on the left can not fathom how anyone could possibly have their own set of values & beliefs. Does everything you believe really have to come from what someone else writes on the internet or reads on tv?

Ok Ok So now you were just curious and not concerned what was in the speech. Talk about splitting hairs. No you dont stutter. You just keep changing what you said. Is it in the schools? Is it a requirement to sing that dumb ass song? But you can see right through them(Obamites), huh? The two comments I posted that you made were about the speech, right? Not about the curiculum, right? The one in which you said you'd love to see the first draft; that was just curiousity and not concern, right? I dont think its being sung in every school across the country. Or even across town. Are any school kids you know required to sing the song? Do you think that Obama is behinf the song? That he wrote it and put music to it and said, ''Get this out to the schools. I want to be praised before Chritmas.''?

For one, I never blamed Obama for my video. That wasn't the intent. The intent was to show how disturbing some of these people have gotten. I've never seen a candidate besides Ron Paul who I would even get a *little bit excited about*. Let alone set up my house with political propaganda over and teach children songs about them!!! This is disturbing to say the least.

The guy in my video says it was done in a neighbors house. Granted, it's a free country. But don't you see the so-called "injured party" is these children's minds!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! HELLO!!!!!

I don't care if the adults choose to worship him. They're lost idiots. But to push any presidential candidate on kids like this is just plain wrong IMO. They're being taught to BLINDLY follow a political leader they know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about. If they were truly informed, every person in the room would be embarrassed and looking to make a quick exit!

Obama deserves no praise. He is your average, stereotypical, radical left leaning, lying, politician. Only more dangerous in the way he's able to convince his followers. Some of you guys REALLY need to wake up!!

 

It is the job of the parents to raise the children. The parents ok'ed this singing activity, do you suggest that the right-wing thought control police prevent parents from letting their kids sing a song of their choice. Why do you want a right-wing government to take over raising these kids. I say that the parents have the final say in raising their kids, you say some weird right-wing anti-singing police do.

Back to topic, Fox is going to air a video this evening of a group actually praying to Obama, ( so I hear ).

There is also new video of 3rd graders sing to the tune of " Battle Hymn Republic " but with changed words expressing great things about , guess who.....thats right, BO.

 

Thanks for clearing that up Jack and I believe you are smart enough to know WHY I asked the question in the first place.

For those that don't I'll explain. I get a good dose of right wing/conservative radio at work. If we're not real busy I can acually listen and do. It's at these times that I hear the same phrases uttered on forums on national radio. I doubt that these shows get their "phrases" from here. More likely the other way around.

For the record I realize this works both ways.
