It is odd that you guys are so opposed to free speech. These kids do not appear to be coerced on this, and if their parents were opposed to it you would have heard about it. Still no word on why this is a problem.

Oh- I didn't see this second page here. Danr- Who is injured? All of us. These things (propaganda songs to the pres) are symptomatic of an all out attack on free thought. Is school about singing to a President that many of the parents may abhor or about reading, writing, arthimatic?
This is how you control people. You train from a young age to "trust" blindly the government leaders, who FYI, have clearly demonstrated to be the people in our society that they have been the most corrupt. Does anyone recall, how OB campaigned on getting out of Iraq on this needless war? Yes he cut back (we are still occupying Iraq), and now we went to Afganastan. Pakistan and Iran our next.

FYI- why can't I link any of these You-Tube videos here? I can see them on my computer, but when I copy the URL and insert here it says the link is broken?

I just do not see that at all, and singing has ALWAYS been an important part of school, I used to love music class.

2 points 1st on Manson and his not killing anyone, have a read it is old news to some but obviously to others it will be new

    http://www.insideedition.com/news.aspx?storyId=1471

Now for point 2 the US was allready involved in Afghanistan so that is not new

Now Boss mentions schools and singing to the President etc is this song sung in schools as part of a official school programe or is it something someone made up for fun? he also talks about free thought yet if someone else wishes to express how they feel then it is wrong because he dont like it?

You were the one worried about the speech he was to give school children. And the same words, I believe. And what Happened there? And the video that Vess linked to wasnt clear if it was a classroom at a public school. It looked more like a stage set and an commercial.

I was taught not trianed in school to trust government leaders. But that was in the early 60's, when the older kids(college) who didnt were called radicals. That was before we(I) knew just how corrupt our political machine was. And we were in Afghanistan long before Obama was in office. I'm sure this wasnt a public school activity. All it is to me is one terrible song.

Personally I think they ought to teach academics and leave the politics out, but, as you say De Orc, not sure in what context that scenario played out, so may or may not be a big deal. I'm sure though that if it were Georgey or Ronny instead of Obama, we'd have never heard about it, or it would be characterized "patriotic".
I voted for Obama, and if I had the choice again between the criminal that was in there before or Obama, I'd comfortably take Obama (given essentially only 2 choices, and 1 being an already proven a war mongering lying criminal), I'd choose the same today. Having said that..I am really finding it hard to defend Obama these days. I'm hoping that he's not of the same criminal content as what we had for the 8 years prior, but we shall see. I voted for him because I thought he was indeed of last ray of hope we had as a nation. Indeed I am still hoping, but the water is coming up awfully fast.

All the presidents are "chosen" and controlled by very powerful people. They are frontmen. Obama is worse than Bush all day long, IMHO. They all attend Bilderberg conferences in which world events are planned.

Is that really your belief? Seriously. Is that what you think, that its all preplanned?

I'm with ya on the Bilderberg thing for sure. We're all pawns anyway. That's another "ostrich" subject people are too busy to look at I suppose, but, Obama WORSE than Bush?? I dunno man. I think Obama would have to be in office a little bit longer to get close to Georgey IMHO. Corporate interests are so deeply embedded in congress, I would agree that any one President could ever do much anyway, and anybody "invading" the system would surely be cut off at the knees almost immediately, if not before. The left is so scared to use the power they actually have, not wanting to PO their corporate interests, and the "I never have enough" crowd on the right is/has and always will be all about the interests of the rich, that I think we're screwed anyway but,.. Obama as criminal as Bush??? Lord..I sure hope you're wrong.

Another lie from the left on this forum. Re-read my posts- it was never about the speech, it was about the ciriculum that the Obama people wrote around the speech (but you knew that, didn't you?)...screams indoctrination to me just as this video does.

By the way, the video was done in Feb 2009, not Oct 2008 as some here have stated.

Oh it wasnt about the speech. My mistake. It was about what was around the speech. Thanks for clearing that up. So then this isnt about the song; its just about the lyrics? This video wasnt taken from a school music room. Was it? I mean its just an ad or some sort of gimmick from Obama supporters.

In your Thread about indoctrination there are two posts by you that seem to be about the speech. But I maybe wrong. One is dated 9/4/09. Post #8. The other is dated 9/9/09. Post #24. Those are your posts, right?

Oh, david I liked the way you put ''but you knew that'' thing up in your post. That was to get back at me for noticing you innocently writing racists comments. I really did think you were worried about what Obama was going to say to school kids. And if I am wrong about those two posts I mentioned that kinda sound like you were worried about it, then I apologize.

It is just dumb to throw a hissy fit over some school kids singing a song (especially since their parents are cool with it).

Don't you ever get tired of having to say this??

  19. David

    David Proud Enemy of Hillary

No, it is about forced worship of Obama. You can worship him all you want, you're old enough to make those decisions, but these young school kids probably weren't given the option of whether or not to memorize this chant & perform it at school, were they?

Geesh, some of you guys really need to shake that stuff (whatever it is) out of your head and see this for what it really is....force-feeding the Obama cult of personality on those among us who aren't able to make decisions for ourselves.

  20. De Orc

David who forced them to learn this chant and what school was it at? If what you are saying is true then those responsible should at the very least loose there jobs.
Now I am assuming that you have some sort of evidence on this other than a vid that could in all honesty have been made anywere.

Also I am still waiting patiently for you to link me to my Anti American posts
