Let's simplify this for people, David.

For most of us, what we've been hearing is that Obama and the democrats, "want to buy a car". The true cost to tax payers is unknown because they don't know what type or features the car will have yet.

If I could have any car at tax payers expense, at the first press conference, I would say I would like a 2009 Ford GT in white, with blue stripes, black leather interior and would show pictures of the type of wheels I would like it to have. I would get this out at the first press conference. There would be no need to hold back because I know exactly what I want and it's all a great idea!!!!!!

Instead, Obama tells us for the 20th time that they need to buy a car. And then all the lemmings, misfits and retards immediately fall in line behind him screaming YEAH! YEAH! Buy the car. Buy the car. We don't care what it is or what it will cost. We trust that you and congress know what to get. Here's a blank check! YEAH! RAH RAH! Ram the bill through already!!!!

Flat out scary and dangerous IMO.

It sounds like some of the conservative side of this forum are not really getting the idea that the president has veto power and the legislature writes the bills. I am certain about this one.

LMAO, I love the old liberal trick, kill the messanger if you dont like the message, attack the source if you dont like the news. Thanks for not saying Faux tho, that would really make you look dumb.

I have stated that several times....:)

Not only some conservatives, but leftys as well, need to brush up on how our system is designed to work.

Again you miss the point. I certainly understand the roles of the different branches BUT Obama has been at the front of this since the beginning & it is commonly referred to as Obamacare, Obama's Health Plan, etc...for someone to be so passionate on an issue, any issue, one would certainly expect some specifics. Heck, this has been the #1 story for months now. What his his vision for healthcare going forward? Why the secrecy? Hiding behind this "he has veto power, he doesn't introduce legislation" bull is just another dodge from a guy with no firm core beliefs or values.
If I have a bel;ief or opinion, I state it. If you have an opinion or belief you state it. Why won't he?

Obama is the Wizard of Oz, the " ignore that person behind the curtain" .

Dont believe your ears or eyes, believe me !!!!

I think quite simply, he is championing a cause, and it is fair to call it Obama care, " his plan " etc etc as that is the platform he ran on. It was his main goal, so let him have it.

This plan has been so debunked as to the promises, outright falsifications, lies, etc, it is probably best to scrap it. Everytime he mentions it, his polls drop.

Healthcare is #1 in America ( as to quality ), they way it is administrated needs fixed, that we can all agree on.

If BO wants to govern by polls, let him. Thats why no solid answers, and the fact that untill a bill is finalized, there can be no hard facts, only proposals. The more he talks, the more he lies, and that is not helping his cause.

I'll say it in a nutshell. He wants to eliminate private insurance and have a government run single payer system. That is his words, not mine.
