Serious question for Obama supporters...

After months of debate, meetings, addresses, etc, what does Obama want in his healthcare plan and how does he plan to achieve it?

 

He wants to give congress a chance to hammer it out. We all (even you) know that the current system can not continue and must be fixed, he is giving them the chance to do it, unfortunately they (for the most part) playing politics with out health.

 

He wants a plan that will be seen as a victory for him and one that will help him get re-elected. Simple really.

 

Now this is a very good question David and I do believe that he should come out and state quite clearly what he wants, he ows this to his supporters who believe they know what he wants and also to his opponents who tell the world what they think he wants.

 

Answer the question. What does Obama want? I don't think anyone really knows.

He wants the best ideas form both sides of the political spectrum, unfortunately the republicans are only offering political games.

I think that you are missing the point. There is a problem and congress has to write a bill to address it, if it is reasonable Obama will sign it.

 

No, you are missing the point. This is a major issue, one in which Obama has invested a lot of time & energy but we still don't know what his vision is. Why can't he just make his case & let everyone decide?
This really shouldn't be that hard.

You may want to review grade school civics. The president signs or vetos a bill, congress writes it.
