Anybody feeling hoodwinked yet? http://www.washingtontimes.com/news...-health-care-battle/?feat=home_cube_position1
Yes. That backdoor move (which we all knew they had in the back of their minds from last year) is why Joe Wilson should have stuck to his word and explained why. To blatantly say this bill will not cover illegals while secretly hoping those same people won't be illegals and will be covered if they can only give them amnesty is very disingenuine and very dangerous. The only logical conclusion any sane, thinking person can come to is that they want to destroy this country. They want the system to break down and fail faster so they can set up a new system of control.
The dems had to scramble azz to get the illegals out of the bill O said were not in the bill. He will get them in somehow some way, and with McCains help.
No cover for Illigals sounds like a wonderful idea we should have it over here, now this is something you should fight for
I think you mean that they add additional linings to the pockets of corporate America's upper echelon. The main reason we hear your shared attitude is because the wealthy can extract even more out of all of us to stuff their wallets. Go Walmart. I'd rather have more poor people than the few exploiting the many. Slavery is returning.
Yep, let's bring the whole country down to the level of the unmotivated, lazy, underachieving, non-contributing, hand-out begging individuals that Obama appeals to. More poor? Are these the people that will lead us out of our economic woes? Will forcing everyone into poverty help our country thrive? And you claim to be a school teacher? Public school, I'll bet. Member of the NEA? Oppose testing for teachers?
Yea those "lazy" Mexicans are always hanging out in front of Home Depot waiting to work 10 hours in the 110 heat for $7 an hour. You can say a lot of things about Mexicans but not "lazy", that is the most ignorant thing ever posted on this forum.
Wasn't referring to Mexicans there genius...I was responding to the comment he made about wanting more poor people. Keep up won't you?
Can't say I totally agree with what Cornchips has said here but once again David your response is yet another pathetic example of how you respond. Attack and stereotype. Seems to be all you know. So public schools are bad? Sure many are compared to private schools but let me ask you this. Considering most of the country's children attend public schools because they can't afford private should we just cut out public schooling period? Makes total sense doesn't it? Cuts down on taxes big time and only the elite have a chance to be educated because the others are too "lazy" to educate their children. More dumb kids running around makes for more cheap labor so no one will want to come here illegally for a job. Of course the crime rate and public unrest would skyrocket but we could deal with that later. Now Cornchips are you a public school teacher AND an unmotivated, lazy, underachieving, non-contributing, hand-out begging individual? Or did you get into teaching to possibly help our future?
Twisting words now, are we? 2 points: 1) I was making a point as to how our public schools are lacking. Do you disagree? 2) Cornchips claimed to desire more poor people rather than more properous people. He says he's a school teacher? Re-read point #1.
Twisting words David? Not me but you do it all the time. I'm just following the lead you always set up then can't back up. Can you point out where you were pointing out that public schools are lacking? Pretty please with sugar on top? Nope, you're just "betting" that Cornchips teaches in a public school and everyone is just supposed to extrapolate what you mean. In other words I, and others I'm sure, will just see your wisdom as nothing more but an attack on Cornchips. In addition did I say that private might not be better? Here - I'll quote myself David. "So public schools are bad? Sure many are compared to private schools". Funny how you missed that part isn't it? You reach as always David. You back nothing up. You accuse others of twisting words when you are, indeed, the king of it your highness. Now as for part 2. Why do you doubt that Cornchips is a teacher? Is it because he doesn't agree with you?
Like what? and How? Do you think that people that don't pay taxes should be awarded with access to government funded programs?
They pay taxes. A lot more than you and I (they get funds withheld but usually do not file a return- that is life with a fake ss #).
They pay taxes. A lot more than you and I (they get funds withheld but usually do not file a return- that is life with a fake ss #). Then some get paid cash and do not pay tax on that but everyone in the trades does that, Mexicans are no more of less guilty on that count.
Untill the wife and I tightened our spending, we had a lawn crew do our landscaping, maintain my pool ,and trim my palm trees. I have a pretty comfortable life I will admit. After the spending freeze in my household, I came to realise how hard this work is, now that I do it myself, save for the palm trees ( I am afraid of heights ). These " immigrants " work their azzes off. Keep in mind, I only hired licensed and insured contractors, left the legal wranglelings to the company I hired.
Is it your opinion that the majority of illegal mexicans are using fake ss#'s and are paying taxes? Next you will tell me that that choose the highest tax rate when completing their W-4's as well. And no, they certainly don't pay a higher tax rate than I. If they are paying more than you, then I guess I can spoil your day anytime I want by calling the IRS. I am sure they would like to meet you. BTW, nice attempt at sympathy for the poor exploited mexican laborers. Unfortunately, you forgot to mention one thing, they are criminals. Oh wait, you don't need to, it is in their name. PS. I wasn't aware that landscaping was a trade.
I happen to know quite a few guys from Mexico and the fake ss# is really common. The first few months in America they do pick up work for cash but within a half a year they have a fake ss# and if they can lay tile or hang drywall they pay taxes (at least that was the case before the housing bust, now mostly they are leaving AZ). As for The IRS I could say the same to you, I personally am on the up and up (but you know as well as I do that a lot of guys in the trades do cash work, illegal and citizen). If you were really worried about people getting healthcare and not paying taxes you should look at the trades and cash work in general not just illegals.
