I hope that we will all keep those who died on this anniversery of the horrible events of the 11th September 2001 in our minds and hearts today and also spare a thought for those who they left behind, specialy the children
I remember it too well actually. I was at work and when it happened it was surreal. I took the back roads home along the shore of Lake Michigan. A beautiful day so far from New York yet realizing that by then thousands had died. Just didn't seem real honestly. Until I saw the news over and over and over. I had a friend who was en route to San Diego from Boston. He ended up in Toronto. Called his wife to make sure he was ok then talked to him in Toronto. Looked up in the sky in the following days. No jets. Things I see everday weren't there. I'll never forget it.
