Not really significant. There are over 100,000 preventable deaths from accidental infection in US hospitals every year, doesn't that sound like a more serious issue. The problem here is that the real issues are being totally ignored for these non-issues.
Jack have you ever sat next to and had to watch a dying cancer patient who is literaly begging to be allowed to die? Well I have and it is not nice please believe me on this, I came very close to commiting what would be called murder but would have ended his suffering. Thankfuly I never had to make that final desicion. The title of that article is to say the least misleading, the system was put in place to help ease the suffering of those in the final hours and not as some general policy. Sure there will be errors please tell me in what walk of life there are non?
And every time I see reports on America it is gun masacres at schools or a sniper or some other attrocity etc yet I know that is not a daily occurence nor a true picture of America. Jack, are you so naive to believe that because you read a story it must be true across the entire country?
Going to ask you the same question I asked David in another thread Jack, Can you actualy read? Sure there will be errors please tell me in what walk of life there are non? Now how many people die in American hospitals Jack due to negligence or human error? want to answer that one Jack? How many cases of malpractice are filed every year against American Hospitals and Doctors Jack? is your private health system realy that good that they never make mistakes?
