Been to a Town Hall meeting?

Has anyone here been to one of the so-called "Town Hall Meetings"?

My local Rep decided he would only discuss healthcare reform on a one-on-one basis, you simply had to call & set an appointment. Right. When folks got up in arms over this he changed it to a conference call session. The problem is he held it on a Saturday morning with only a couple of days notice + you had to be pre-registered to access the call. So much for getting the publics input.
Now our local news did cover a pro-reform "rally" held Friday afternoon at a city park. Coverage said about 30 people attended. 2:30 on a Friday afternoon? Don't these people have jobs? They were grilling ribs & when the camera panned around the crowd it appeared that most were smoking cigs (which I thought were banned in a city park by our smoking ordinance).
    Just saying....

    Same here Craig
Harry Mitchell, who took the JD Hayworth seat is also a pussy, refusing to go in front of the people. To bad I am in his district. He has that lameazz phone thingy as well. Think he'll get relected? LMAO, the AZ Cardinals will win the Superbowl first.

Harry in NV is in HUGE trouble I see. Do you wonder why?

I did attend a JD Hayworth " rally townhall " last week and it was ok. To many extremists for my tastes. On both sides.

I guess McCain held one today here in Phoenix and took it in the A from the folks, but at least he had the guts to do one.
