    Clembo,
My response is just as sensible as saying it was never there. They could have easily bought a new computer, or a computer that had no files on it, and done the cars.gov thing for that very reason.
I ask you this, would you go on that website, and register? I wouldn't. If it was not true I think the government or cars.gov would have said something by now.

Oh lighten up. And yea forget about patriotism. What the F&%k is some magnetic yellow ribbon or some cheap hang on your car window flag(made in China BTW) gonna do anyway? Do you really have to show dodads and bangles to prove to everyone you are an American?

No I don't I will fight for what is right, and no, I don't have one of those little yellow things on my car, or any support our troops shirts made in china.
I believe that everything we have should be made in America. I stand up for what is right, in my heart, for god, and the constitution, that makes me a patriot. I have pride and faith in America, and will not let up, ever, our forefathers are probably rolling over in their graves right now, because the constitution is not even being paid attention to. Those are the laws of which this country was founded, and I believe strongly in them.
I don't have to prove to you, or anyone that I am an American Patriot.

Sure I would have registered if I actually wanted to. Why not?

Why hasn't the government or cars.gov said anything? No reason to because it isn't there and hasn't been. Only so many people actually REALLY pay attention to Glenn Beck and his charades.

Read further into PRWE and you'll see that even a conservative or two agrees with this at times.

Besides. You think the government doesn't already read your emails? That's been going on for a long time. By the time you're old enough to vote they could have a lot on you INCLUDING what we all say here.

It was there folks, I saw it.

For an afternoon , the cars.gov site was redirected to another, then came back and with some changes. This is not the first time any website by any party had changes, it is common.

Without attacking the messanger or his techniques, he broke the story fair and square. I like Beck. If Olberman had broke the story, I would also speak the truth. I dislike Olberman. If he had proved it wrong, I would agree with him.

Truth is the truth, facts are facts.

    The car site was changed.

this has been debunked, we have covered this ground and the right wingers once again made fools of themselves.

And how about you show me the legit media link that says it was never there!
Yes I got a link, posted by clembo, and that link means nothing. The site, like I said earlier, and Jack just said, had been changed. It is so easy and obvious to me, that they changed it before people could get a snapshot of it on their computer, and I guarantee why the site wouldn't work when they tried to do it live, was because they were working on the site, and it wouldn't load.
Danr, I made no fool of myself, anymore than anybody else did that said it was never there.

    Dan
I heard it on the Barry Young show at work, I clicked over to the site and saw it. I did not take a screen shot. It was there bud, I am telling you the truth.
When I went back at lunchtime, the site was on redirect.

After work when I got home, the clause was gone.

    Straight truth. Honest.

Now let me see what you are saying. Are you saying that the dealer only portion of cars.gov was the only part with the weird stuff? Or are you saying that the citizen portion had that at one time? If you are saying that the citizen portion had that you are wrong, and the fact that they were doing site updates is really not relevant.

So you registered on that website? Because Beck did not. He only mentioned what the site would show if you did register. He really gave no proof. Doesnt Beck also believe that Obama isnt american?

Uhm, yes it is! If they are doing site updates, that means that is when they removed the little warning box. (very simple explanation to why it is not there anymore)

you did not have to register, you only had to go as far as the agreement......if you did not click yes, you did not register. I did get as far as the agreement tho, and on a " non personal" puter.

Read my links, those stories are from 8-3 and 8-7, before the site update.

It was on the " See if you are eligible" page. Private folks, not for dealers.
    That is what disturbed me.

If car dealers want to go to bed without a condom with the feds, thats their business, it was the everyday folks that bother me.

I believe OBAMA (Barry Soetoro) wasn't American! Born in Kenya(Like his grandmother said), also registered citizen of Indonesia(where he went to muslim school), and there is a proof of that.
It was there, and many other people will tell you it was.
You say it wasn't, and many other people will say it wasn't.
We will continue to go in circles on this topic.

There is no significant evidence of him being born in the US, and the fact that he is president, is mind boggling to me.
