So a policeman/Fierman who is injured in the line of duty will not be entitled to the same care as a soldier injured in the line of duty is this what you are saying? The only exception to that, is soldiers who have lost an arm and a leg protecting us, that need health care and medical treatment When making this statement you make no mention of the soldier been a vet
No not what I'm saying at all. You should have mentioned injured firemen and policemen in the line of duty, they should be given free things as well, because they deserve it. I'm saying if you protect this country, here or overseas you are more deserving than anything that any of these people get as a free handout, which they don't deserve. Why should a crack smuggling criminal get the free handout versus the injured war vet.
You posted before that your grandparents are getting all they can from medicare. So by your feelings; your granparents are taking advantage of a fouled up system and by doing so are part of the problem. You would rather see them dead than get care either by stealing from the government or by it being the only way they can get care.
No, re read my post, I never said such a thing. I said medicare, and soon they might not even have that No one in my family is on government assistance for anything, we work and pay for everything.
Whether you know it or not there are alot of not so wonderful people in the military. Some guys there would steal your last pair of socks.(Hmm, a real hero, huh?). And there would be a heck of alot of chaos in this counrty without police. I'm pretty sure a retired colonel can afford pretty good health care. But he will sure take advantage of the freebies. Just like everyone else. ''I got mine. F%^k everyone else.''. Nice.
Yes, and they fight for your country, to keep us safe, they deserve something more than a pat on the back for that.
At least they have done something with our country. It is better than a bunch of illegal aliens getting benefits for no reason
OK I will replace medicaid with medicare. Its still government health care. Here I go replacing it. Then you can respond.
No they are not, they have worked all their lives and are still working they are 73 and 74 years old, and are getting things done that they need that is necessary for living a longer life. We are all afraid of what OBAMA will do. I thought you might have picked up on that, my whole family are right wings. MEDICARE is something that is for the people that have worked all their lives! That is what it is for, for people who retired who do not have an income source, it is their health care.
Right. Isnt that what this bill is for? For folks who cannot afford thier own healthcare? Being for one form of government run health plan and against another is not a strong argument.
Ahhh, how could we know what in the heck this bill is for when we cannot even read it In all seriousness, this bill, and the way the media portrays it, is not for what I actually want. People who cannot afford healthcare? Wouldn't that be mostly illegal immigrants? So this bill is just another free handout. This bill also has a fixed amount on healthcare, so how exactly do I know that I, or whatever sick person in my family will have enough to actually pay for things. I can afford my own healthcare, it is expensive, but I don't need the government screwing everything up, anymore than they already have
C'mon. Are they really the only ones that cant afford health insurace? Get serious. And by what you say we dont need medicare either. You cant afford it? Tough. My health plan has a fixed amount. Yours doesnt?
My plan varies, it is a certain amount each month, but many times we have to pay out of pocket due to things it won't cover (like any plan) Yes they are really the ones that can't afford health insurance, they have a 60 inch TV in which they can watch the DALLAS COWBOYS on, or drink a cold beer with their cousins, but they can't afford health insurance, or at least the government wants us to think that, and give them freebies, so they can just get another vote, to get them in office Yes we do need medicare, for people who work(ed) their butts off to support themselves and families for their working years, and now they are retired, and can't pay for a decent healthcare plan, either because they don't have enough money, or they had their employer buy their healthcare before they retired
Yeah, their reason is, whatever their uninformed perception of reality is, IS their reality. Hard for him to screw up in their imaginations.
