Scotland Yard has warned businesses in London to expect a Mumbai-style (Jihad) attack on the capital.

In a briefing in the City of London 12 days ago, a senior detective from SO15, the Metropolitan police counter-terrorism command, said: “Mumbai is coming to London.”

The detective said companies should anticipate a shooting and hostage-taking raid “involving a small number of gunmen with handguns and improvised explosive devices”.

The warning — the bluntest issued by police — has underlined an assessment that a (Islamic) terrorist cell may be preparing an attack on London early next year.

First, Treasury official Azad Ali has begun advising the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) on combating Islamic extremism.



It seems that his suspension earlier this year for blog entries steeped in - you guessed it - Islamic extremism presented no barrier to his joining the "community involvement" panel chaired by the CPS anti-terror chief.

In addition to naming radical imam Anwar al-Awlaki, the email pal of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan, as "one of my favorite speakers and scholars," Ali's musings include these gems:

On his blog ... Ali said he found "much truth" in an interview with an Islamic militant who said: "If I saw an American or British wearing a soldier's uniform inside Iraq I would kill him because that is my obligation."

He has also used his blog to praise Abdullah Azzam, regarded as a key spiritual mentor to Osama bin Laden, saying Azzam was one of the "few Muslims who promote the understanding of the term 'jihad' in its comprehensive glory" as both a doctrine of "self-purification" and of "warfare."

Ali has also used his blog to deny that the Mumbai attacks last November, in which 173 people were killed, were an act of terrorism.

Just the kind of guy to "advise " the Crown Prosecution Service on matters relating to Islamic terrorism, right?

Then there is Asim Hafeez, the new "head of intervention" at the Office for Security and Counter-Terrorism of the Home Office, where he is charged with "divert[ing] fellow Muslims from the path of violence."

Note the bump on his head from banging his head to the floor 5 times per day!



Mr Hafeez has been described by a knowledgeable colleague as a "hardcore Salafi," one who follows a puritanical form of Islam. According to Harry's Place: A number of Hafeez's talks are available online which appear to not only back up [these] accusations but also to suggest that Hafeez might additionally be a hard-line Islamist who wishes to replace the British constitution with "the Koran and the Sunnah."

Honour crime up by 40% due to rising Islamic fundamentalism in London

Diana Nammi of the Iranian and Kurdish Womens Rights Organisation has blamed the rise in fundamentalism for the increase in violence. Police have seen 'honour' crime surge by 40 per cent due to rising Islamic fundamentalism, new figures show.

Honour-based violence, including crimes like murder, rape and kidnapping has rocketed in London during the past year.

Reported instances of intimidation and attempts at forced marriage have also increased by 60 per cent.

Muslim Council of Britain leader to get life peerage even though government links with its organization are suspended

Gordon Brown wants to offer a life peerage to Muhammad Abdul Bari.

Never mind that the UK government has suspended links with the Muslim Council of Britain - its leader openly advocates for the integration of Shari'a law into British law. Believes the people of Britain would be better off adopting the Islamic way of life - such as arranged marriage. And that one day - they will find all these things acceptable.

Some think Gordon Brown is looking to get as many votes as he can - in the upcoming election and is counting on the rapidly growing Muslim population - what a gamble for a swing vote!

The House of Lords in the UK is like the US Senate - except you can't vote them out!

FAILED plane bomber Umar Abdulmutallab has bragged to FBI agents that there are more young men plotting to launch attacks on the West. The 23-year-old Nigerian has told security chiefs of a sinister network in Yemen who are ready and waiting to strike.

The reports come after The Sun revealed that cops fear that 25 British-born Muslims are plotting to bomb Western airliners.

The 25 Muslim suspects, of Pakistani and Somali descent, were radicalised in UK mosques.
