I really don't know, to be honest with you, but I would like nothing more than to see Obama make a statement in public actually defending one of the good guys (whether it be US citizens, police, our military personnel, etc) rather than jumping to the conclusion they are wrong & stupid. Let's wait to see if that ever happens then we can revisit the issue.

Cant ask for more than that. As a leader of a country, he does tend to apologize quite a bit.

If Obama's poll numbers were not dropping 2 points a day, I might consider a reply to this thread. What we are seeing is absolute desperation on the left to salvage the worst President since Carter ( I told you long ago that O would be Carter on Steroids )

An absolute and definative total and utter failure with a capitol F. Worse than we as a country have ever seen. Hey folks, hows that hope and change treating you about now?

More than 56% of America now understands they were bamboozled, hoodwinked, suckered, tricked, played, jived, sold a bill of goods that never got delivered.

I'd say that it depends on how healthcare and the economy goes. He has placed some BIG bets, if he wins he will be considered one of our best leaders if he fails, well it is a scary thought how bad it could it could get if he loses.

What polls? What desperation and where does the 56% come from?

Let's face it. Polls and stats can say ANYTHING. Doesn't matter what side you're on. News media lives on this crap. "Our polls say yada, yada, yada....".

Big friggin deal. It's a shame we don't all live in Shangri-La right now. Hell, Obama promised it didn't he? Well less than a year and he hasn't solved all of the world's problems let alone our nation's. TOTAL AND UTTER FAILURE!

If you're going to compare him to Carter on these points you may as well include EVERY President in between. This crap did not happen overnight and our last administration did not help it.
    Remember them? Bush and Cheney?

Maybe they were part of the reason Obama got elected? Maybe I remember a guy like yourself that was ready to throw his vote to Obama because McCain was such a piece of garbage?

Now if we take this into consideration I have to ask this. We, as a country had a choice. President Obama, John McCain or Ron Paul. Most realized Ron Paul had no chance although he made some really good points.
    Obama won.

NOW. IF McCain were President how would it be better? Can ANYONE answer that in hindsight because that's what it boils down to.

Bash Obama all you want but think first. Would it be better under McCain and do you think he'd have it all solved by now.

LOL dont expect a answer to that one Clembo They all complain yet they all said what a waste McCain was so who do they have to blame other than the Republican party.

No steve, I'll answer this, why would I not?

And again Steve, I'll remind you of how I was so dissapointed in Bush's 2nd term, and have called him out here many times for his " drunken sailor like spending " and assinine decisions and programs he tried to pull, Dubai Ports, Harriet Meyers, Medicare part D, amnesty, etc etc, his list of mistakes is a long one.

McCain was a lesser of 2 evils. Never once did we true conservatives believe in him. But, we did know he was not a socialist.

I did however predict this.....double digit unemployment and a Carter-like national security additude. We have Iran and S Korea bit ch-slapping us and we are cutting our defense budget? How many states and citys now have unemployment in the teens? C'mon, be honest with yourself.

Obama has the unmitigated nerve and gall to say he " inherited" this financial mess? Really? Who spent us into a 23 TRILLION mess? Who has quadrupled the deficit in 6 months? Who has gone after the rich ( employers ) with such threats? This is O's economy plain and simple, 100% his. He asked for it, he ran for it, he " inherited " nothing. He wanted it.

I warned this would happen. When I was considering an O vote, I explained my reasons, are they are coming true. Moderate Dems and Indys are off like a prom dress. Campaign as a moderate, govern as a radical, you'll start dropping in the polls. Look what Jimmy C did to conservatism, thats exactly whats happening now. That, I also predicted.

O will so F up the Dem party, along with Pelosi and Harry, that we may see another repeat of the 90's.

There, I hope you can understand that logic.
DeOrc, before you go and label me as a partisan, please read back sir, I am one of the few who calls it as I see it and do NOT blindly so follow the party and agree with everything my party does. DanR is also one to admit wrongs. Not to many of those here.

And raising McCains name makes things better how?
Remember it was Obama who promised so much and conservatives you tried to point out the reality of all of his pie-in-the-sky promises. We were called paranoid but in fact everything we warned against has come true and to date Obama hasn't "changed" anything (for the better)other than our debt load.

Again he placed a couple of big bets, if they pay off he goes down as one of the greats if he loses things get REALLY hairy for everyone.

23 trillion dollar debt? Where did that come from? In just six months? And N. Korea has been thumbing its nose at us since the 39th paralell. Thats alot of aministrations gone by that have done nothing about it. Then again, oif this country can be taunted into a war, then it isnt the country I learned about or served for. Thank God Li'l Kim doesnt stick his tongue at us. And wasnt there an administration that did some sort of Iran-Contra scam? Yeah, the same one whose chief told America we will never deal with terrorists. Jeez, Jack how many more guns and tanks do you think this country REALLY needs? How many more young men must get maimed to suit you? Sorry; not since the war between the states has there been so many amputated soldiers.
