Is it wrong for the fed gov to close auto dealerships?

This question keeps coming up in different threads and interfering with them, so I thought I'd make a thread to address this issue.

 

dealerships need to close. it's called trimming the fat and leaning up for a tough economy. time to lose the losers period, in any industry or retail segment.

i do think it is wrong for politicians to run car companys, same as i would not like a car dealer to do my lasic surgery.
