Read this guy's then tell me Afghanistan and Pakistan are not a threat http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/asia/article6011879.ece
Well when I said (quite some time back) we needed to take proper action in Afghanistan certain members loudly told me it was a side show and it was all Iraq Similar veiws were raised when I said we should play hard ball with Pakistan
Well Bushie and Blairbie, the evil twins, decided that Iraq was the bad guy. Iraq was an internal Iraqi threat, to the Kurds, the Shiites etc, but was a now known ball-less wonder when it came to external threats. My list of countries that pose real threats are Afghanistan, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and North Korea. North Korea is threatening to lob a missile over Japan and towards Hawaii later this week or early next week. Pakistan is the home of all the madras schools that educate all the little Osamas in training. Saudi Arabia finances all these madrases in Pakistan, and even sends recruits. All those problems could have, and should have been dealt with long before that conniving idiot in Baghdad was toppled and the countries infrastructure destroyed - costing the American taxpayer billions.
Oh don't do that, what will Davie think? Next we will be compared to poor priestly pedophiled Aidie is a piece of Work.
Your obsession with what I think is, to say the least, a bit odd...borderline disturbing. It is good to see, though, that your fervent defense & support of all things Obama may be beginning to wane a bit.
So this is now gospel? I recall the threat.."We will bury you!". As far as I'm concerned you can, in the words of Colonel Kurtz,''Drop the bomb. Eliminate them all!''.
I have a question for you, David. You stated here a few times that you wrote to the powers that be, of your great solutions for America's problems. How many of your panaceas were actually implemented? Be honest. And please dont use the Obama excuse. I'm sure all these cures were bubbling up inside you for a few administrations. By the way, that he ''fired'' the CEO of GM was beyond his authority. And he should be charged with that.
Well, obviously this concept of letting your elected officials know what you think is troubling to you. You can mock me if you wish but I feel it is actually a citizens responsibility to express their opinions to elected officials. Contrary to what you may believe, an election win isn't a mandate for the victor to rule as they choose. The input of the people is vital, especially when your reps are living in a vacuum, half way across the country. I think you are in the minority with your belief that a citizens input into government be viewed as an annoyance. Personally, I believe government could do a better job. Understand?
You guys, we just need to talk to them and learn how to understand their feelings and what their going though as they cut off the heads of innocent people... uke:
I dont need a lesson in government from you. But gosh you just cant answer a simple question. you wrote solution both times that I disagreed with you. And now you write that it was opinions. Do you know the difference? why I remember when you wrote about someone stating that tellers roll thier eyes at peoplelike him who ask for change or rolls or odd coins. Dont you think thats what your elected officials do when you call or write? .."Oh Senator Bob, Davids on the phone with yet another sure fire way to keep blacks out of the country.''. ''Oh brother. Tell him I'm out and send him another frigging God bless America' t-shirt.''. Now how many solutions of yours have been put into motion by your government? Understand?
How about this: I let them know what my opinion is as far as a possible solution. Can you sleep now? Perhaps you can enlighten us as to exactly why you don't feel the constituents opinions, thoughts, ideas, solutions...whatever you wish to call them...shouldn't be conveyed to our elected officials? How are they supposed to know what the folks are thinking back home? Think about it, they are elected to represent us...things change over time + they become somewhat insulated living in DC for extended periods of time. I would submit that it is your duty to stay in contact with your elected officials or you lose the right to b!tch. What would you, of all people, do then? And yes, I do see a big difference in being active in how the country is being run and pestering some poor bank teller.
Chuckles, you said you had a solution. Now its a possible solution. Backpeddler. Whatever I wish to call them? You called it, not me. Why dont you answer the question? Answer the question. Answer the question. You know the answer is none. NONE of your solutions have been employed by the government. And yet you are so sure you are right. Youre right and everyone else is wrong. You must feel so alone. Do you really think these guys read your letters? Ever hear of the auto pen? You write to these people to let them know you exist. You feel for all that hype your a-hole teachers kept telling you. Because you want to feel counted, and important. ''Hey look at me, over here!''. ''I'm somebody!''. Guys like you wind up either insane and alone or on a rooftop with a rifle. And whats with the ''poor'' bank tellers? Boy are you an elitist.
Hey, if you think government is doing such a good job that your input isn't needed, that's okay. One of the great things about our country is that you have the freedom to participate or not. Whatever works for you. I see you live in Nevada? Maybe if Harry Reid is doing such a bang-up job speaking for you, you should at least give him a "good job"....I'm sure he would like to hear from at least one person who is satisfied with his job performance.
Of course it's gospel Craig it's in the Times LOL Now as for contacting elected officials I actualy agree with David it is something that more people should do after all they are there to serve your interests and sometimes if enough people contact them they do change there minds (specialy round election time LOL)
