Gee, who knew all it would take to get the market back up was for Obama to laugh it up about the economy.
We'll see how long his Messiah status lasts. I notice the merchandise fervor with his image is dying down finally.
Didnt you want it to go no and on? Anyone still buying 9/11 crap anymore? When I was a kid Revell had a model JFK sitting in his favorite rocking chair. Now thats tacky. And extreme.
Well at least the merchandise fervor stimulated the tacky side of the economy a bit. The seemliest side of the economy would have benefited from a Clinton election last year. Remember the George Bush GI Joe dolls from when he proudly proclaimed "Mission Accomplished" on the aircraft carrier - in his little flight suit?
I remember building a model of PT109 when I was a kid, but never saw that JFK in the rocking chair thing. It is tacky.
We have modern day tacky to replace tacky of old, stuff like Obama coins etc. JFK needed that rocking chair to recover from all his extracurricular amorous romps.
We got some kind of George Bush thingee at work the other day in a collection. Sure it cost too much originally. Think we made the guy pay us to take it off his hands.
