I don't know how you define innocence in this case, but unless you propose kidnapping the children and trying the wives for treason and crimes against humanity and endangering the welfare of a child, then it seems to me that complete justice was served.

When they hung Haman, they hung all his children as well. This was right. These are not simple matters of criminal activity or human rights. When an entire society becomes corrupted it is misplaced compassion to give mercy to guilty parties regardless of their age or gender.

That is judgmental and based on a false premise. It was said that Moses stopped the cheering over the dealth of Pharoh's legion in the Sea of Reeds because they were still God's children. But that is not to say that the death of his family wasn't justified and good.
