Im not mistaken at all In 1977 i was living in Scotland , i was there , were you ? Ill get you a link to debunk that pic , one less monster for you to worry about.
Wait a minute..are you conceding its fake already ? But... but.. but.. you said it was the real one. Heres the link anyway http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/Hoaxipedia/Loch_Ness_Monster_Hoaxes/#The_Loch_Ness_Muppet
"One of the clearest photos of the Loch Ness monster was taken by Anthony 'Doc' Shiels in May of 1977. The picture is so clear, however, it immediately makes experts skeptical and has been referred to in some circles as "the Loch Ness Muppet." Shiels himself, a self-styled physic, has said that while he definitely takes photos of lake monsters, he doesn't believe in them." (public domain) see, you are wrong. It's a PROBABLE fake, but not definite.
That idiotic site, it's run by a cynic. Shiels signed an affidavit attesting to the authenticity of the creature.
Why did you edit the copy/paste ? Let me put it up in full for you. The Loch Ness Muppet May 21, 1977: Anthony ‘Doc’ Shiels claimed that he took this picture while camping beside Urquhart Castle. Its startling clarity (it’s probably the clearest picture of Nessie ever taken) has made it popular with the public. But it’s hard to find any expert willing to take it seriously, simply because the creature depicted in it looks so obviously fake. (And it’s odd that there are no ripples in the water around the neck.) Skeptics refer to Shiels’s monster as “The Loch Ness Muppet.“ The fact that Shiels was a showman, “wizard,“ and psychic entertainer who was developing a side business as a professional monster hunter didn’t help his credibility. Shiels himself commented that while he definitely took photos of lake monsters, he didn’t believe in them.
Showing whos issues ? Now then , you say this fellow signed an official document confirming the pic is genuine. You'll no doubt have a link to that document?
I see ...in a book , one of those books with big glossy pictures of genuine monsters. If you want the real deal go to the source , Scotland my lad , lets see what the Scots are saying about Nessie http://www.weird-websites.com/weird_news/Loch-Ness-Monster-nessie-scotland-pictures-photos.htm
Im sure it is , i wonder why then if one could get as close to bigfoot ..why not fill him full of lead and claim a huge bounty from the media , a photo is only ever going to be scoffed at. Did you know the Loch Ness Monster is responsible for starting most of todays conflicts ? Dont believe me ? I have photos from a reputable source which i wont name..obviously
Well since your so eager for a source I just noticed this photo when looking through old issues of The National Enquirer. ~Isaiah
The first issues were mainly concerned with ufos, bigfoot, double decker buses on the moon , Queen of Englands an alien type of journalism were they not? Lately i see they have a few lawsuits on claims of Mrs McCain having an affair , Mrs Palin having an affair , so its no surprise they uncovered Edwards , they accused everybody of the same thing. Shake the tree enough somethings going to fall.
