Bill Richardson under investigation now

    I think we should start a pool just on which politician will be next. It is pretty obvious our entire political system needs a good sweeping. I doubt this will be the last investigation to come about because of the finacial fraud that led the the economic collapse.

    But, a real sweeping will never happen because too many people just base their vote on is whether there is a (D) or an (R) before or after someone's name on a ballot.

    I just figured there were too many general politicians, thought there would be better odds of someone winning if we kept it to a small bunch.

    But, you are right, it's definitely not any different from one party to the other.

    Very true and unfortunate. I have never voted on partisan lines, I am not much of a political party person though. I believe that the parties as they exist in our current system are more of a hindrance to originality and honesty in the national politic than an assistance to it.

    Here, here. Bring back the whigs and the know-nothings. (know-nothingers?). Ha! I'd be a great asset to that party.

    Looking around at what has been happening with the economy and the country, I think know nothings are already well established in power.

    True, but a better description would be the "Do Nothing" party.:D
