Apparently there is in fact a right wing talking points network working out propaganda and disseminating through various media. http://www.ourfuture.org/blog-entry...arrative-spiked-immediately-after-election-da just as a reminder that America is not a "center right nation" here is a map showing where the US population are (the population of each state determines the size of the state):
And this is what the map looked like in 2004 The nation swings back and forth depending upon the election. There is left that votes Democrat no matter what, and a right that votes Republican no matter what. And then there is a large portion of us independents who vote either way for whatever reason depending upon the election. There is no Center Left or Center Right nation.
An even more interesting map to me of the 2008 Presidential election is this one that shows percentage of votes by county. In other words, as you near 100% democrat, it gets bluer, as you near 100% republican it gets redder and a county with a 50/50 split would be purple. It is also adjusted for population like the 2 above maps. All are from this site: http://www-personal.umich.edu/~mejn/election/2008/ We are a pretty evenly divided nation.
