No you cannot. When youre wrong, youre wrong. And where did you get those facts that thousands of fetuses are aborted per month here in the US?
Here's a question for pro-choice supporters I've never had answered to my satisfaction - "Why is it that a mother can decide to have an abortion with no input from the father, but should that same mother decide on her own to keep the baby, she can force input (usually, but not limited to, money) from the father?" I believe that a man should take responsibility for any children he fathers, but he fathered that child during that one evening (afternoon delight?). He's a father already. To take any part of that joint responsibility away from him seems to me to be at worst sexism, and at best to be hypocrisy.
Yes, there I agree with you that the sperm donor should have input, because well he had something to do with it for however short of period of time he performed. It is something I thought of a long time ago when all this abortion stuff was heating up in the early 90's. I don't know if this has ever been tested in the courts, perhaps it is because the guys in these situations are just stupid wimps and don't want to "be the man".
Another question is...why is it if someone else other than the mother kills or injures a fetus it is murder, manslaughter, assault, etc of an unborn child? Shouldn't all that just be damage to property? After all, it is not human, right?
I guess one thing I cannot fathom in this argument is why people just cannot be more responsible on the front end and use the umbrella to prevent this in the first place. It sure would be a lot less costly, and while that will not please our resident malcontent on that vain, it would at least stop abortion from having to become an issue.
Hey, I get it. You & craiga are for killing babies. Can't find someone your own size to pick on? Gotta go after the innocent babies?
Better be careful, if you agree with me on anything you'll be attacked & called names by our left wing contingency here.
Aint that pot calling the kettle african american? You would never call someone names would you? I bet I agree with you on alot of things. Just not abortion. Where did you get those figures, David?
We can't use this...if I can't use links to prove the stupidity of the catholic doctrine, we can't use links to prove the numbers of abortions. plus we need more than one source. stainless
Here are 2 more sets of stats that I posted before. http://www.nrlc.org/ABORTION/facts/abortionstats.html (CDC and AGI) CDC takes data reported from most of the states...however some states such as CA do not report stats to them. AGI uses statistics reported by the performers of abortions. More from CDC http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/ss5609a1.htm More from AGI http://www.guttmacher.org/pubs/fb_induced_abortion.html No matter how you slice it and no matter how you deny it, it is tens of thousands of abortions a month in the US.
Tens of thousands of people that could have been more responsible and used protection instead of abortion, and saved public and private funds from being used for immoral purposes.
Now what what? I think that source is NOT pro-abortion. Lets try to get a more fair resource. What does the JAMA write about it? Any one know?
