Everybody should watch at least the first 1:30 of this video. Sadly, this is something so basic. What if he lies about something that people really don't know anything about? Is this a genuine, trustworthy guy, that can fall back on statements he's made in the past? C'mon Danr, I can't wait to hear your excuses.

How many and how severe of gaffes are we expected to live with these days? Any to any extreme? A detailed story on Memorial Day about a fantasy uncle liberating a concentration camp, trying to excite a crowd, I classify as a MAJOR LIE. Not A gaffe. You either know what you're talking about, or your mind's in story telling mode, running away with a story to impress a crowd. No, this is not acceptable at any day and age.

On the reverend Wright scandal, he was trying to suppress the story and runaway from it, foolishly not even realizing how much of it might get out to the media. Once the top was blown off, he was forced to come clean. Plain and simple.

The democratic party is laughing all the way to the Whitehouse at how stupid the American public is. You can bet on that. I will laugh and laugh when the false bill of sale finally hits people and the rage sets in when nothing gets better and everything actually gets worse. With the bar set so high now, even I almost feel sorry for the guy.
