Suffice it to say I didn't think she was the brightest bulb in the box as a VP candidate and she seems more that willing to prove it.

It has nothing to do with what she stands for. She is just really really dumb.

    Gee.

Would that be aimed at me? Or DanR? Probably me considering I brought up the light bulb analogy.

Nahhh, not dumb. Just looked dumb with Catie and Charlie.

Yeah, Clembo, that was aimed at you, lol, DanR is not a dim bulb.

Why not, she can offer that even a complete imbecile like the current lame duck in the Executive Mansion got elected once, and unbelievably even got re-elected!

She seemed like a pretty exciting choice at first, but then history will prove that she was not vetted by the McCain camp, and even his aides thought she was a cinder block to the campaign.

I won't opin that she lost the McCain campaign, but she did assist in it's demise.

It wasn't the factor on why I didn't voe for McCain but, if it had come down to that reason, it might have been.

Obviously what a person stands for has no bearing on who the left will vote for.

By the way, the implication that Palin thought Africa was a country has been roundly dismissed as a rumor coming from a single disgruntled McCain campaign worker & exploited by the far left media outlets, as has the "diva" accusations, the excessive shopping, etc.
I was actually energized to vote for McCain, as opposed to voting against Obama, because of the addition of Palin to the ticket. For a party that claimed to offer a "new kind of candidate" and support blue collar values, the dems really turned on the real deal, didn't they?

    The KKK endorsed McCain (true).

Anyway you did not watch the vid. You should look at it.

But I thought Fox News was so controlled that they could never allow criticism of the republican party?? This makes McCain look just as bad. I guess this completely negates the point of your other thread/video link? Again? Thanks. Good to have that out of the way.

I'm not a big fan of Palin myself. But making her the scapegoat and acting like a bunch of anonymous babies after the election was disgraceful and really showed their hand. McCain was a hail marry as far as that argument's concerned. All the criticism coming out now serves nothing but to damage the party and leaves me wondering who these anonymous McCain campaign staffers are making the accusations and who's side they're actually on.

I can honestly say I voted for neither McCain or Obama. When it came down to how Obama neglected my state in the January primary and did not want the delegates seated in the DNC this summer, and then how McCain effectively pulled out of my state in September, I figure they both gave us the politicians middle finger.

I am sort of glad McCain chose her, it helped Obama. Anyway the whole situation has provided me with many good laughs.
