I love it when a clown who has seen no success in his own life calls the former President of the United States stupid. Where did you graduate from Tom? Thats right, you are too much of a coward to tell us anything about yourself. You are only capable of criticizing others that you hate.

He's an educated man. He's a genetic accident. Credentials are useless when you're mentally disturbed.

Why I was just pointing out that the man gradiated Yale. Bet he still has the diploma daddy bought him. I did hear one rumor that he spilled beer all over it and ruined it. Hey I told ya...I gradiated clean threw the fifth grade.
My daddy couldn't afford to buy me a pre-paid certificate of credentials or buy me a baseball team that I could ruin.
I got lotsa success. I clean toilets.,I told ya. Twice on Tuesdays. Criminal Bush seems like a nice fella. Killing all them folks in the towers wasn't very nice though.

George Bush didn't kill anyone on 9/11, Islamic terrorists did. Do you even bother to read Midas posts?

Maybe you can clear something up for me Tom. Are you saying that every rich person's son or daughter who attends college is automatically just given a degree without having to earn it? George W Bush graduated from Yale in 1968. Daddy Bush didn't enter politics until 1966, so he had no political clout to throw around as he was just a wealthy oil man at the time.

If the George the corporate war criminal is considered the right's example of articulate, educated and honorable..then I'm happy to represent the other side.

No....you're saying that.. but part of what I'm saying is that lotsa money paves the way for whatever daddy wants.
Another part is that not every politician's son gets to be head of the CIA. Still another part is that Yale's graduation standards must not be too high...so long as you have the cash. Now go ahead and spin it Sean., and don't forget to throw in a few insults. I'd expect nothing less.

Yale University is one of the finest education institutions in the world. That is not an opinion, it is a fact. I know Daddy Bush was head of the CIA, I was not aware that GW was. What spin are you talking about? You are the one making the accusation that people with money can buy degrees for their children if they donate enough money. Your little theory makes no sense IMO because at the time that GW attended Yale, Daddy Bush was no more rich and powerful than the average parent of a Yale student. Are you claiming that Yale University is not really a learning institution and all the degrees are just the result of another hidden government conspiracy?

    BTW, who is Sean?

Yale can't have very high standards if the wall street rapist was able to graduate. Before George...Yale produced smart and very well educated people. The came George. Lord knows what the standards are now, and if they are indeed still high...then daddy muct have paid way
    via a..."donation" wink,wink.

Hey, do you remember the sob story Obama spewed during the campaign?
He claimed that he tried to get into the 2000 Democrat convention but was turned away...then he didn't have enough money to rent a car to get back home. IN 2000 OBAMA WAS AN IVY LEAGUE EDUCATED LAWYER!! He couldn't even afford to pay the $30 it costs to rent a car? And this is the guy who is going to fix our economy? Give me a break!!!

    Tom,

At least put some thought into it. Bush has a history degree from Yale and an MBA from Harvard. You simply are not going to get anyone to believe that Yale and Harvard are not good schools or they sell degrees. Harvard and Yale take turns between the number 1 & 2 ranked Universities in the country.

Why don't you just claim that Daddy Bush hired a so called "tudor" for GW to assist him in his studies. That might be believable if he didn't go on to become President of the United States.

The man was born with several gold spoons in his mouth.
Yale and Harvard are what they are. Point is money can buy anything...anything at all..INCLUDING a certificate of supposedly passing attendance. Everything has it's price., and price was clearly no object for the Bush klan. Based on the former criminal's command of the english language...the dazed stupor he often went into, for example when attempting to explain what "sovereignty" meant...it's clear to me, and I'm sure many others, that the wall street and war criminal had "help"....whatever you want to call it. Ten (of the hundreds of examples) such "Yale Graduate observations" are posted below.

    10) "Families is where our nation finds hope, where wings take dream." —LaCrosse, Wis., Oct. 18, 2000

    9) "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family." —Greater Nashua, N.H., Jan. 27, 2000

    8) "I hear there's rumors on the Internets that we're going to have a draft." —second presidential debate, St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 8, 2004

    7) "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." —Saginaw, Mich., Sept. 29, 2000

    6) "You work three jobs? … Uniquely American, isn't it? I mean, that is fantastic that you're doing that." —to a divorced mother of three, Omaha, Nebraska, Feb. 4, 2005

    5) "Too many good docs are getting out of the business. Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country." —Poplar Bluff, Mo., Sept. 6, 2004

    4) "They misunderestimated me." —Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000

    3) "Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?" —Florence, S.C., Jan. 11, 2000

    2) "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004

    1) "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

Is that really the criteria for which you are basing Bush's intelligence, random quotes of him misspeaking. I can go through this forum and pull out some of the extremely stupid things you have written in the last few months if you like and you had the opportunity to think about them before posting them.

Bush wasn't very good at delivering prepared speeches and was even worse at speaking extemperaneously. Neither fact makes him stupid. Some people never become completely comfortable speaking in public. It is very easy to get flustered and make a mistake and misspeak.

I am not saying he was a genius. What I am saying is that someone who graduated from Yale, earned an MBA from Harvard, and then went on to rise to the position of the most powerful man on the planet has to be smarter than you give him credit for. After all, you accuse him of successfully masterminding the greatest conspiracy of all time but then call him stupid.

And money can't buy everything. See if tiger woods if he can buy his way out of his current predicament. And you either missed my point or ignored it completely. At the time Bush attended college, Daddy Bush was not rich enough or powerful enough compared to other parents of Yale students to buy his son's education with a bribe. I understand that you think everything is a conspiracy, but if you think Yale just hands out degrees that are not earned, you don't know very much about Academia.

Misspeaking?? Weren't most of his speeches written FOR him? What's the deal? He can't read either? His "random" quotes were almost nonstop. There are hundreds upon hundreds of these "random quotes". Perhaps there are some that some could be construed as "misspeaks", but I believe the majority are more accurately defined as an indication of his stupidity and general ignorance of ever having to do anything that wasn't "prepaid", completely optional or some form of entertainment. I think everyone in this particular forum has posted stupid things from time to time. Curious though..are you now comparing me to the president of the United States? Is georgey supposed to be on par with me or is he supposed to be someone that is "the cream of the crop" so to speak, that rises well above me or anyone else for that matter? Or is he just a "good 'ole boy" to go drink beer with? Seems those that defend him want to have it both ways when it is convienient.

Bush wasn't very good at delivering prepared speeches and was even worse at speaking extemperaneously. Neither fact makes him stupid. Some people never become completely comfortable speaking in public. It is very easy to get flustered and make a mistake and misspeak.

Again, you seem to lower the standards when it fits, yet insist his Yale/Harvard pre-paid attendance raises him to a much higher level.
Neither of those facts that you referenced makes him stupid...I agree, but watching him "misspeak" for eight years certainly leads one to conclude that he is indeed stupid. Ignorant as well. Neither of those qualities constitutes presidential material, but hey...he got in there anyway right? Then the right, in their continued hypocritical fashion, will be the very first to b**ch about Obama being "unqualified" but their representitive can barely read or speak half the time. He went AWOL during his entertainment stint in the military. (I bet he didn't have to defer enlistment FIVE times like shotgun Dick did.) The man was an embarrassment to United States and he ought to be considered the same on the right.

I am not saying he was a genius. What I am saying is that someone who graduated from Yale, earned an MBA from Harvard, and then went on to rise to the position of the most powerful man on the planet has to be smarter than you give him credit for. I'm glad you didnt' say he was a genius. We would have never been able to tell the difference. Slightly smarter than I give him credit for? Possibly. Very slightly. Actually, I consider Shotgun Dick more of a "mastermind" and Georgey STUPIDLY following along. I'd further submit that had it been up to him to mastermind the whole thing..911 likely never would have happened. The only things he successfully followed were shotgun Dick's instructions, daddy's political and CIA connections, and instructions on how to keep that blank look on his face when he lied us into the Iraq war, or told us how he was in his limo "watching the TV" when the first plane hit on 911.(and who knows...he might have actually been watching his own personal "live" feed...perhaps from the camera in building 7 that fell down..go boom...or I guess the go boom was first..the very same building the BBC said fell down while the reporter was conducting a live interview with building 7 directly over her left shoulder...still standing..as she described how it had already fallen down before her live feed experienced "technical difficulties" and before the taped event that the BBC said it "hasn't been able to locate since that confusing day on 911 when that tape "got lost"...permanently..Hey I thought 911 happened in NY?? Why were they so confused in the UK?)

I disagree on that one. I'm pretty sure my eight year old can smoke him on an IQ test and the idea that Georgey boy got through anything besides "My Pet Goat" (that he read upside down while his cohorts were busy instituting future martial law) and possibly the audio version of "See Spot Run" is beyond amazing. That leaves bribery. Money does, has, and always will continue to buy ANYTHING...and perhaps even more accurately...almost ANYBODY so long as the corporate dogs run everything, which ain't likely to change any time soon. Tiger Woods? We'll see on that one, but I'll bet he ultimately does buy his way out. Soon...all the fuss being made and gals coming out of the woodwork will all go silent. Cash can do that..but back to Daddy Bush. He was also born rich..inherited much of his grandfathers wealth via his pappy and his pappy's pappys exploits with the investments in the Nazis and IBM interests in Germany a few years ago. Oh...and as you always seem to ask....you got any proof that Daddy was NOT rich? Maybe you could post his tax return for the appropriate year. Like you say...just saying it doesn't make it so. "Compared to the other students" doesn't hold much water either, unless we know who attended at that same time with Georgey and have their tax returns analyzed as well (assuming they reported their income) Who were his classmates? Maybe his classmates were "ultra rich" and his poor family was only moderately rich. Bottom line is..of course daddy bribed them...that or Yale/Harvard has extremely low academic standards. Makes some sense that Yale/Harvard doesn't just "hand out degrees" generally, but for the chosen few future criminals, and in interest of the upcoming "new world order" agenda...I'm quite sure it's no problem arranging it via daddy's "business" connections and no problem at all to prepare the background for a planned future president via the CIA, which daddy was likely already an active participant in. I am sure that's how the game is played amongst the criminal elite, whom daddy was eventually in charge of for who knows how long. Anything to facilitate daddy's and PNAC's "new world order". Did I mention the daddy was in Dallas during JFK's assination? Daddy was asked about it...but said he "couldn't remember" where he was that particular day and of course, who could doubt that...after all..it was just another average day.

What a ringing endorsement you are of the republican party. Hey...just wondering..is that why your party is separating themselves into small groups with nicknames like "true" conservatives?? Or does the former administration simply embarrass you all so much that you need to disassociate yourselves with the old party that are running like cockroaches when the light comes on to "renamed" little groups of three or more?? What are the names of the other little splinter groups called? "Non Liberals for Guns"? "Tax cuts for Real Americans"? "Corporations Incorporated"? Just curious.

But in reality, I find that people believe what they want to believe no matter the facts. They hate who they hate and believe who they believe based on their own biases which of course they don't see as biases. Your personal opinions and biases have been noted with all the consideration they deserve.
