Since Obama is all about trickle-up economics and free rides, I was thinking that I should get a head start in his new society. If I were to quit my job & stop paying for my house I should be one of the first people to benefit from his Presidency, right? Can you believe there are still people out there who think if you stay in school...study hard...work hard and act responsibly that you will get ahead? Didn't they watch this campaign? Why work hard when the Chosen One promises to spread the wealth around? Where does the line start?

Of course I'm probably the only person that voted for Obama that would think of this angle. Apparently you have done well David. Good for you but your utter disdain for those that have not done so well is beyond pathetic I'm afraid. Many have worked hard and acted resposibly to get ahead. Sometimes factors come into play to set those very same people back. You know, silly things like shifts in the economy, outsourcing jobs, recessions. Do you know what people like that do? They just keep plugging away. Working hard and making responsible decisions. 240,000 jobs have been lost in the past month David. Makes it even tougher for the "hard working" to find better employment or employment at all wouldn't you think? So when that guy that has been working hard for 30 or 40 years falls on his face when he's trying not to he's just not worthy of people like you? Gosh David you're the American dream or is it nightmare?

Actually I was thinking socialism or Marxism when I titled the post but now that you mention it...Hitler did create a "hated" class didn't he? Hitler blamed the Jews, Obama blames the rich. Hitler & Obama both started their disruption at the bottom & promoted class envy, didn't they? Both Hitler & Obama relied on the cult of personality to distract the people from the outlandishness of their promises, both used a lot of slogans & symbolism, didn't they. Come to think of it, Obama & his people have expressed some pretty anti-Semetic beliefs. Hey craig, you may be on to something here.
Because that's what Hitler brought with him. We blindly elected Obama and now we'll be stuck with whatever he's about. When you think about it, if Hitler could have been born in the U.S. in 1961 and ran on the democratic ticket in 2008, he would have won with the same message and promises of returning America to greatness. His blind, wild eyed, star struck followers weren't any different than Obama's as far as I can tell. Scary if you think about it. Obama's also calling for a "civilian security force", that in his own words is, "just as powerful as the military" and "just as well equipped as the military" and the minions clapped for him. Seems like something dreamed up in his own mind for purposes unknown. But I'm sure somebody here can dream something up and rationalize it for us.
Oh come on, clembo...we've been down this road before. You know I'm not talking about hardworking, contributing members of our society who may have had a tough break. I am still amazed that you have such a disdain for people who have worked hard to get what they have and would like to keep most of it. After 8 years of Bush/Hitler references and the extreme loony left thinking that he would never even allow elections, let alone cede power, I guess I should not be surprised at the comparisons that are going on with Obama.
