Barack Obama has put out an ad that simply reminded us John McCain cannot use a computer.
    Well guess what ...!
Barack has never landed a jet on an aircraft carrier at night.
Well to be fair Obama never crashed six very expensive jets either.

I said I posted it because I thought that it was funny, but since you want to go there..
Do you know why JM cannot use a computer? It seems that while he was in the employee of the US government, someone did not like him. So they broke his arms to the point that he can no longer operate a keyboard. Now, if using a computer is that important to you, you can vote for BO and let him take your guns and...and...and... away from you. Your choice.

Isnt he still an employee of the US government? And how do you know thats why he cant use one? I saw him on a debate. He was able to write. His fingers seemed functional. I think thats just an excuse. They have computers that dont need traditional keyboards. They are voice activated. But, if you want a guy who isnt 21st century savvy then go ahaed......

OH! MY GOD! And you want to debate facts. Come back when you have one.

What facts? What do you mean? Are you suggesting that I find the ''I cant use a pc because my arms were broke crap?'' as an excuse? If you can bring a fork from a plate to your mouth, you can use a keyboard. Or doesnt he eat? Tell me , what facts are you talking about? But maybe you are right. He does have that Captian Pike(the gimp from Star Trek)demeanor. But even that guy could make his wheelchair move around without the use arms and legs. So what exactly makes him incapable of using a computer?

Stephen Hawking does so because that is the only way he can communicate. Are there computers out there that JM can operate - probably so. Because he has found other means more convenient to go through live I do not hold against him. In fact, having lived through their torture refusing to leave before his men and succeeding despite his disabilities is a much larger plus than the internet could ever be construed as a negative to me.

What men? He had no men. Dont make stuff up. He refused to go before his time to be released came. Thats what a soldier/sailor is suppose to do. He was a good military man. But he did nothing heroic. He obeyed the code of conduct is all. And I never said it was a negative. I was asking you what exactly makes him unable to use a pc. But of course you'll say he was a hero because he got his plane shot down and got caught. I think maybe a real hero would have died fighting rather than being taken prisoner. Yea yea; he was beaten alot at the Hanoi Hilton. But so was every prisoner there. Does that qualify them all to be President? .... Now go ahead and take just a part of this post and go off on another tangent.

I don't hold it against him that he chooses not to use a computer. I just find the whole 'cannot use a computer' line a little ridiculous. If he chooses not to use one, then that is what should be said.

The point is that BO does hold it against him. That is BO's ad.

You guys are killing me here!:D

ANY computer skills are a plus in this day and age but it is more difficult for older people. Seriously, think how technology has changed in their lives. ANY of our lives for that matter. My boss is 65 and he has a tough time on the computer.

Our current President hasn't quite grasped the English language so vaulting to computer skills is a huge leap for an even older guy.

Maybe Sarah Palin could set him up with a Yahoo account. I've heard it's really secure for government business.

How old is old? My boss relies on his two "young" 46 year old employees to do the computer work.

My Dad, who lives with us, will be 80 in December. Has diabetes, is blind in one eye from 2 operations on brain tumors years ago, and has quite bad arthritis in pretty much every joint.

Yep, you guessed it...he uses a computer. Sends email, surfs the web, does online bill pay, shops online, plays games, and even installed his own anti virus and firewall software. He did get a head start on McCain, though. My Dad bought his first computer when he was 70. lol

For Pete's sake Bud, thats an ad to get elected. There's an ad running here that states a state senator wants kindergarten teachers to carry concealed weapons in the class room. Only a retard would take that as gospel. Do you see McCain running ads that report Obama as the wise choice or that he's a great guy? What a maroon.
