You don't want to know what will happen, to test the will of the American people, if McCain is elected but if Barrack is elected, it will be more directed at him (government) and not We the People. McCain will continue to alienate us with the rest of the world so if you like war, vote McCain but if you want Peace & Prosperity, vote Barrack!

    Ribbit :)

Ps: Don't forget that Ms. Palin has had her eye on Russia for some time now so when McCain dies from a heart attack, expect us to try and annex Russia.

WoW!! I feel so much better now...it's not "we the people" but rather "Obama the government" that will be threatened? Is that what you said? Really?
    Isn't it past your bedtime?

I think Obama has a couple of "crazy old uncles" he needs to disown!!

Yeah, I can imagine the effect. It would be a large area without power for a very long time and nothing any presidential candidate would be able to take care of in an 8 year term, depending on if it were a total loss or not.

But I suppose you believe Obama would handle it beautifully and have the place back up and running in a couple weeks?

If you took the time to read some of my previouse posts without jumping in feet first you would realise that I woudnt vote for Obama if I could vote, so dont go making assumptions.

Sorry. I'm just very weary of listening to everyone around me talk as if he could walk on water.

Hey Toad. This is how you've simplified the decision? This is nothing more than a bunch of guess work. And how exactly does Barrack bring about Peace and Prosperity? Seriously, we have thousands of jobs in this country that are never coming back. No candidate can ever bring them back.

Maybe McCain does have the right idea in wanting to drill. It will create thousands of jobs and provide more oil for the U.S. Obama is against this. Obama doesn't want any new power plants, despite how desperately in need of power this country is going to be in 50 years. We're in need now. Obama has said with his own words that we can't drive SUVs, we can't leave our thermostats set at 72, because it's causing global warming.

Can you explain how it will work when he spends a trillion dollars in addition to the bail out package but then cuts taxes to 95% of Americans, which are his own words?

His socialistic views and severe anti-gun stances are well documented facts now.

I'm still trying to get cheered up about him. Can you help me? I'm seriously asking you to pour all the positive facts about him on me that you can. I have an open mind and I'm trying to figure out why exactly people love him so much. The thread is all yours. All I ask is that you stick with facts or actual statements that he has made or something he is for that you are happy about. I really want to know so I can be happy too. I hope you write two pages worth. Just pour it on for the forum. I will not pick it apart. It's all yours and I'll keep my opinions to myself. I can't speak for anyone else though. I'd really appreciate it.

Well, I do like to hear him talk. I think he is a good orator. Maybe it will be nice to listen to a Presidential speech without cringing like I do now. Hey, it ain't much and I am obviously not a supporter, but it is something nice. lol

You really think so? I'm not just saying it to go against you, but I think he's painful to listen to. Click the youtube link I just posted in my other thread. He stutters and says more umms and ahs than anybody I've ever heard. He thinks about how to word things so much he has trouble speaking, IMO. Not always. But a lot of the time.

I was talking about speeches and scripted stuff not just general talking or spontaneous stuff. But, anything will be an improvement over the current situation of presidential speaking, speeches or anything else. Tell me you don't want to take sharp instruments and shove them deep into your ear canals every time the current President speaks! lol

His public speaking skills, plus his willingness to be used as a show dog, are the only reasons Soros & Kennedy cast him in this role.

Whatever you think the reasons are, I think he is a good speaker. And, whether it is a good thing or a bad thing, the contrast in the debates between him and McCain's awkward (my friends, my friends - grimace, grimace), stiff and limited public speaking skill easily made Obama come out looking better to America.
