I wish I could be as sure of all things related to life, the universe and everything in middle age as I was when I was in teen age.

 

Those were the days weren't they? Then some of us grow up and are where we are now. And some are still idealistic zombies believing they can change the world still.

 

Perhaps evolution is further proof of god.
I never believed any book written by man that the earth was created in 6 days and on the 7th god rested. Nor do I follow any religion. But I do find it interesting that science has indications that the universe is still expanding and if the universe is still growing then why can't we.
I happen to think that there is something greater then us when I look up into the night sky, when I see my children laugh, when I look into my wifes eyes. For it is all divine.

How the Hell can you use god to support your argument then deny his book?

How do you know that god dislikes abortion then?

Also, define which god we are talking about, it's obviously not the christian one, so I am confused.

God did not write any books. Men did, All god did was create everything or is the creative power of everything. Kinda of big stuff compared to writing a book and getting it published, and I do not need a book to tell me that abortion is murder. That is common sense.

 

You mean common sense in the way that knowing it is wrong and sadistic to send people to Hell to burn for all eternity?

Or do you not believe in that part also?
