I am actually surprised they didn't just stomp on the babies after they survived the abortions. I guess letting them die in the soiled utility room seemed like the better plan.

And there are some dead babies who would probably say it is not "everyone's" choice. Well, they'd probably say that if they hadn't been tossed in a closet to die, that is.

Personally, I don;t condemn that small number of abortions that are performed because of rape/incest and to save the life of the mother. I can also be ok with very early term abortions where the development is minimal. I also have no problem with the morning after pill and similar things.

What I have a problem with is abortions of convenience and abortion as birth control where the baby has also obviously developed beyond a hunk of cells or a mass of tissue.

And when a doctor attempts to abort a baby and it is born breathing anyway and left on a shelf to die, I think that is murder. And my opinion doesn't change if that doctor was able to kill that exact same baby before it makes it into room air.

I think the better alternative is to sterilize people that would likely be the ones getting abortions so they can prevent conception in the first place. There are just some people not cut out to have kids but performing abortion should not be the answer, prevention should be. In the absence of sterilisation there should be contraceptives readily available to the miscreants.

Abortion is too convenient, and can be as easy as going to the hairstylists. It should be something that is only done in the interests of the mother, the child, etc. or in the case of incest etc.

I was curious about something so I did some researching...

One study I read said out of 1.3 million abortions in one year in the US, 13,000 were for rape or incest. Basically 1%. Another study I read said mother's health risk was a reason about 4% of the time.

So, it seems around 5% of abortions are for Rape, Incest or Risk to the mother.

 

and that 5% is why I am pro-choice..

i will agree that the women should do the rigth thing if it was consentual...but we do need to be pro-choice for this 5%..it's only fair.

When and if you are married and your wife is carrying a baby inside and you see the ultra sounds you will have a better idea of the horror you so casually accept from the left wing and medical industry.

Andy abortion has nothing to do with left or right wings, Hitler was quite willing to terminate not only fetus's but children all in the name of science. Abortion today for the most part is a money making machine and big buisness is very rarely run by socialists or the left wing element in society..

 

I am 'pro choice' but only in limited circumstances and 'pro-life' in the rest. I don't see everything in extremes. Usually the majority of people don't.

In general, about 20-25% think like you do that it should always be legal and about 10-15% think that it should always be illegal. About 5% fall into the unsure category.

Typically, the majority of people think that things are often more complicated than black and white, right or left, plus or minus, big or small and have varying opinions of how and why it should be legal or illegal.

I agree with Andy, the left uses it as a power tool with women saying women's rights. It the rallying cry of the leftist who call themselves the feminist movement, it is a money making machince for the leftist planned parenthood, and the doctors who perform the abortions-How many of them do you think are members of the religious right or even centralist. It is a way for the left to get young women not to vote for any conservative candidates democrat of republican by brainwashing them to have sex with anyone at anytime and then just dispose the unborn as if it is garabage and not a life murdered.
