Tea is cheaper and if they don't like tea they could have vodka, goat's milk, sangria.... you name it. Personally I can't fathom how ANYONE could not like tea.
lol This thread kind of sums up my feelings about the debate. I don't agree with either candidate on much but I disagree less with McCain on most things.
It is the lesser of two evils scenario, and I believe Mc is more qualified. I just see Obama as a try to please everybody and end up screwing up everything type of leader.
This describes MOST elections. Voting AGAINST someone, rather than FOR someone else. Most political ads, after all, attack either the other candidate or emphasize Candidate B's qualifications in Candidate A's myriad weaknesses. Amen, brother. With sugar and cream. Not "sweetner" and "creamer."
Sorry Peter but he said he did not want to invite them to the whitehouse for Tea LOL (Bit mean spirited of him)
What you perceive as tea has no taste my friend. The garbage you find in gas stations, 7-11s and so on is not real tea. Snapple is NOT tea. Arizona Tea is NOT tea. Liption is NOT tea. You might consider consulting "the British guy" De Orc on this. What generally passes as tea in this county is basically bilge water. When I'm away from home I carry my own tea bags with me. I like REAL tea.
I agree 100% with Clembo on this one, you want tea with taste then try Gunpowder tea or Russian tea LOL drink it black with no sugar then you have Assam tea and Darjeeling tea both full of flavour If you buy tea bags then I would sugest that if you can not buy Yorkshire Tea bags LOL then you buy Twinings much nicer flavour, and of course you have to prepair it correctly as well http://www.twinings.co.uk/sitemap.asp
The best tea is not out of a stinking tea bag, but rather cut tea leaves brewed in a little porcelain pot and served in porcelain cups, Japanese style. My favourite tea is real jasmine, no not the fake tea bag jasmine, but the real stuff that is like £20 a pound in a large bag. It is a very fragrant tea and doesn't need to be drowned in sugar or creme. Suffice to say, betwixt jasmine, and green teas, I would bet safely that I drink more tea on a daily basis than anyone herein. I don't care for carbonated beverages, or milk, so suffice to offer that tea is prevalent.
Generally tea bags on this side of the swamp but Twinings is readily available. The English Breakfast and Lady Grey are delightful! There's also an American company mixing some nice blends in bags. Stash Tea which I believe is in Portland, OR. Great English and Irish breakfast blends as well as a killer double oil of Bergamond Earl Grey. Yummy!
So how much are you putting down a day? I'm good for a quart or so on a regular basis. Hard to find good loose leaf over here. Used to have a shop very close that blended his own but alas it's gone. Had to seek out better bagged tea but the bagged is much better than it used to be.
Only 2 to 4 liters what are you a wimp LOL, I quite agree that loose tea is far supirior to tea bags any day of the week and I love jasmin tea But as I say if you have to buy tea bags (sometimes unavoidable) then go for Yorkshire Gold Teas from twenty tea gardens are blended to give Yorkshire Gold the perfect balance of strength, colour, flavour and character. The golden flecks you will see in our loose tea are the hand-plucked tips of the leaves – a sure sign of extra quality. Yorkshire Gold is available in the following packs LOL stolen directly from there site
