In a mere 3 years Obama took more $$ from Fannie & Freddie than any other US Senator, except Chris Dodd, has accepted in the last 20 years???? His campaign advisors Jim Johnson & Franklin Raines absconded with over $100 MILLION of taxpayer money from Freddie & Fannie?? What is the "Great One"...the "different kind of candidate"...the purveyor of Change & Hope going to do now? Keep taking immature jabs at Palin? Do you Obama supporters see the connection here? Add 2 more names to the list of Obama's close associations that are wreaking havoc on our security ad economic well-being!! I'm putting a call out to all you Obama zombies & lemmings...the gilt is off the rose..the more we find out about this guy, the worse it is. Forget the Obama campaign second-guessing the selection of Biden as Co-President...Soros, Kennedy & Moveon.org are surely second-guessing their decision to cast Obama in the role of Presidential candidate, wouldn't you think? David Axelrod better get on the stick & write a new script...Obama has some 'splaining to do.
He is the hero of the young and brainless who faint as he speaks for he is so pious. Soro's got in trouble with some muslim nations a few years back with his money manipulation and ever since he has followed an anti-american/pro muslim agenda most likely just to keep himself alive and to be able to continue to do business. The man himself believes in nothing as far a religion goes and has never shown a moral consious with his business dealings. Kennedy is a murder Move on is funded by agents outside of this nation thru proxy. Clinton did the same thing to Israel to defeat Beni N years ago by funding commericals against him. Beni still got the majority of the jewish vote there but lost the christian arab vote which later regreted it from what I hear. The muslim vote would always be against a strong jew or christian if that is to happen in the future.
Netanyahu sounds like a real hawk, well he is, but he is one very shrewd politician. Curiously the out crowd actually tends to do better with a strong Jewish leader than a flopper. Notice that when Ariel Sharon was PM, he was a hardliner, but he was also the one that proposed closing down the settlements, and the pullout of Jewish settlers in the Gaza strip. In my opinion Benjamin Netanyahu is one of the most intelligent leaders anywhere. Tzipi Livni is not far behind, but I hope she will stick to her guns.
Isn't McCain's campaign chief a Fannie & Freddie lobbyist? Doesn't he have several people associated with them on his payroll? McCain is old style, ensconced politico...I know this doesnt aid you in your quest to 'wake-up' America to the evils of Obama...but certainly you arent trying to say that McCain is any better and has not benefited from such associations for decades? Wouldnt it be better to camplaign (compaign / complain...my new word) for McCain on what HE offers? You seem far more worried about 'exposing' Obama. I have a feeling its just that McCain doesnt really offer much to brag about so one needs to spend most one energies striking out. McCain hasnt been saying much to strike a whole lot of confidence I do like the fact that both arent very religious...I guess McCain got Palin to appeal to the 'I can only vote for christian crusaders' voters.
Netanyahu helped lead israel into being one of the world's leaders in medical and tech research/development. He would have bombed iran and taken out hamas/syria at the same time 2 or less years back if he was in power which would have been a god send for christians in Lebanon.
Just because you accuse McCain of something sure doesn't wash the blood off Obama's hands, does it? I also see a stark difference between hiring a simple lobbyist as opposed to the actual culprits, don't you? The point can't be argued that Obama was on the receiving end of waaayyyy too much money and he needs to be thoroughly investigated for criminal activity here.
Oh come on, Obama is not that bad, he has some excellent supporters: Cuba.....Obama Russia.....Obama Venezuela......Obama Iran.......Obama North Korea......Obama Hammas........Obama Al Queda.......Obama ( The Bolsheviks would have loved him , and I'm sure Karl Marx would offer an endorsement as well ) Add to that Barbara Striesand, Susan Sarandon, Michael Moore, Pamela Anderson and the eyes glazed over Obama Youth, The Obamaites Sheeple, The 9-11 inside job crowd, the America haters, and oh yeah.......... Drum Roll........... Madonna !!!!!! LOL.
Bill Ayers, Louis Farakkhan, Spike Lee, Fr Pfleger, Bill Maher, Keith Olberman, Ward Churchill, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, John Murtha....
Israel needs a tough @$$ed leader. You cannot be some pushover tutu wearing fairey in the Middle Beast when your country is surrounded by fanatic idiots bent on wiping your country off the face of the earth and taking the whole society back to the 13th century. I think Olmert was a complete failure, what combined with Moshe Katsav and his being an alleged perverted fool have really condemned the country to a weakling in a playground with lots of bullies. If Netanyahu had been in power two years ago the war against Hizbollah would have been a complete Israeli victory. Not what most consider is a Israeli defeat in the face of terrorists.
David are you seriously blaming Obama for the collapse of those two companies? Oh and how many Lobbyists has McCain had on his staff while running for President?
I'm simply stating the facts! 2 of his top advisors bailed with over $100 million from Fannie & Freddie. Obama himself was #2 on the list of US Senate $$ recipients from Fanie & Freddie in the last 20 years and he took it all in a mere 3 years...HE TOOK MORE IN 3 YEARS THAN ANY OTHER SENATOR HAS TAKEN OVER THE COURSE OF 20 YEARS!! Like Woodward & Bernstein said: "Follow the Money". Spin it, explain it, parse it however you want- this guy is certainly part of the problem. Lobbyists? Get real. This has become something of a buzzword in the campaign this year but there are thousands upon thousands of lobbyists working in Washington...I'd be willing to bet everyone there has lobbied for something or another at some point in there career. Lobbyists are merely representatives (salespeople) for an industry, cause or movement, nothing more.
Bidens SON was a lobbyist ( just quit, lol ) who is tied in for MILLIONS with Obama. I don't think it wise for ANYBODY in this race, McCain OR Obama to be talking about lobbyists.
certainly not, I am saying they are both scum who have recieved huge donations from special interests, in this case one took moeny, the other put them on his payroll...and you are obviously a rabid supporter of one scum and attacks the other as if there is a difference...
Yes, but only ONE of the candidates co-sponsored and introduced legislation to reign in the B-paper lending, and it was voted down by TWO of the others who are running for Pres/Veep. Only ONE of the candidates own a mansion bought under " suspicious " circumstances from a CONVICTED FELON. I won't name names
Yeah, but at least he knows how many houses he owns I guess when you buy from a felon you remember it.
Well it is looking like one of McCains leading advisers has got himself caught up in this mess, here are a few reports on the subject, from the NY Times, Newsweek and the Guardian http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/24/u...=us&adxnnlx=1222268891-XzLnhY7JsiagE68MB4/ 7w http://www.newsweek.com/id/160561/output/print http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/sep/24/uselections2008.johnmccain1
Oh and McCains son was on the board of directors (He was one of the Auditors) for the Silver State Bank in Nevada that recently went under, strangley enough he quit for personal reasons 2 months before it fell leaving 20 million of uninsured deposits that people will be lucky if they get cents back on the dollar. Of course I am not blaming him for the collapse but he must have been aware of what was happening. Forgot to mention that the FBI are currently investigating the financial doings of some 26 companies including Fanni & Freddy, added to the growing list are Lehmans and AIG, things could get very nasty for some people I think. I do hope that the bail out plan been talked about at the moment makes sure that the top dogs dont walk away with a golden hanshake, and I am glad to see McCain and Obama both been rather insistant on the need for oversight in this matter.
Bush and others seem to think they shouldnt cap salaries put restrictions on the companies we bail out of the crapper because then they might not be willing to participate in the bailout...OH NO!! I say let them fail... This is a free market...there will be a thousand other companies willing to scuttle into the void...long time coming. Thank god I have all my money in gold
Too simplistic and sensible I'm afraid Drusus. That's like saying let them lose their houses and start to really struggle to make ends meet. You know, like so many other Americans. Can't have that can we?
