Oh yeah...I saw them in concert...AC/DC are what they are...a Balls to the Walls rock and roll band, no apologies.
Yes and the lead singer from that group killed himself. Speak about inner demons. Was a good club song thru. AC/DC:Australian hard rock group formed in 1973 by ex-pat Scottish brothers of which one member drank himself to death. speak about inner demons. Hey I don't believe in the stuff but maybe these guys gave themselves bad karma.
Alcohol and drugs have more demons than music. And they have been the ruin of many many musicians, right up to the present day.
Ben the ruin of many a good boy, including politicians, bankers, film stars, clergymen it is not the perogative of musicians alone
I agree with both of you and one can make the case of the artist being more intune or more sensitive yet I find it ironic, in a sad way, that the singer of devil inside killed himself.
Eugene be careful with that axe from Atom heart mother from pink floyd. Talk about music to get you pumped to well...be all you can be in the army. far cry from dark side of the moon.
Great band...that guy is still alive is he not? Eric Burden. if not he hung in there for a good long time...look at the stones...I am sure they made a deal with the devil to live forever...now we cant get rid of them. Sometimes you get to the point where you have heard the best from a band or musician...then they start making you dislike them with the fact they cant produce the same inspired music they used to. BTW, for those of us who think Pink Floyd was one of the greatest to ever craft an album (though they have had a few stinkers as well) they lost a member recently, not to drugs or suicide but cancer I think. If you think about it, there are many many musician, even ones that live a rough life, that live long lives. A few years back I went and saw Little Richard and Chuck Berry, they still sound good...playing the classics
Yeah i think the guy was 65 which today is young but it was cancer that got him. to much pot..or just something else..who knows we all have to go sometime and he had a rich and creative life more then most can say. i too am getting tired of seeing the stones shaking their booty in their 60's. some music can be sung by anyone at any age others should be left to the young not some old rich guys singing about chaos. I still have my muscles but even with that I know better not to take my shirt off at the beach. Scars look exciting when you young but just look like dead flesh when you in your 40"s.
The vampire with the devils breath, (cigerattes). Where is donny osmond when you need him. wait he is a morman. um um... Al Hert anyone.
