In the UK domestic violence is a criminal offense, now what they might be doing is counceling, no law against that but not Criminal or Civil law The Mrs fell about laughing when I told her (she is a lawyer)

It is kind of amusing sometimes when reading on the Muslims taking over the world or even a host country.Sure it may seem they are bent on that at times but what a lot of people forget is the will of the people in these host nations.
What would the Mossies do ? Blow up every downtown city block and run away to afghanistan?One by one ..might take a while.
Essentially these people are cowards , it shows in the actions and beliefs.

 

I have known quite a few Iranian and Egyptian Moslems, and they were smart enough to get the hell out while the going was good. And they like America.

Just like Christians, you cannot condemn a whole religion because of the nut cases that get the headlines.

I posted very early on i moved to the US last October , been here just over a year now.
So getting away how these people treat females , as barbaric as they are in that area , lets look at other beliefs they hold.
Or do we even have to go there ? 72 virgins per martyr ? Gimme a break.

Lets look at the stupidity of that idea , its ok to treat females like crap on earth , they will be there to wait on you hand and foot after death??

 

Jake, I am with you, women should be treated as equals everywhere, but instead of just isolating Islam, many of the three main religions we are familiar with have a fairly condescending viewpoint towards women.

Look at the infamous FLDS, the Roman Catholic church, the Baptists etc. that treat women like third class citizens.

I am not validating what the Muslims do, but I am pointing out that western religions have stinks too.

 

Yeah they all in the main stink in various ways , the difference is most if not all western religions will not blow up your embassy or tourist locations.

You have a valid point there. Whereas Christianity and Judaism have progressed to about the 19th century, many of the Muslims still have their heads rammed up their 14th century hineys.

 

Another huge diffence is if i live in whats termed the "west" i can chose to not have a religion at all.
I could chose from a wide variety or simply have none.Im able to do that.

Under Islam id be killed without question.

Having no religion doesnt make a person bad or evil or even undesirable.Most people believe in the freedom of choice , take the best parts of a religion and live by it.Going to the Zoo doesnt make one a monkey as going to Church doesnt make a good person.

Point is here one can be the kind of Christian one chooses to be , there are few set rules.
Under Islam there all kinds of set rules and breaking those rules always involves capitol punishment of some sort.

Killing is acceptable and sanctioned for the most trivial things.
