Man, I would love if my daughter some day grew up to run for president...she has about as much if not more muslim background as Osama bin Obama....Mother from the bastion of radical islam, pakistan...with nine uncles and god knows how many cousins scattered all across america, europe, and the middle east...muslim grand parents on one side, christian on the other...and she will be a woman who was taught to be feminist by her mother, humanist by her father.

Oh please like the hard rock cafe is not a scam itself with all of the casino's it is opening in Florida in Indian Reservation land or land bought by so called native americans. Your daughter does not belong to a church that hates white christians and has ties to the black muslims which is basically a hate group in itself. As for Pakistan it seems as if that nation also has those who want to live in this century the shame is that they also seem to be killed if they run for office over there. So the pakistan would not be an issue it would be does she believe in equal rights for all or wants to be in a burka.

Actually I like to think with countries like Pakistan, Kenya, Russia, Ukraine, etc. the smart ones get out and come to America. That is my vision of America, we got the best of the rest. Sure, there are little ripples here and there, but overall, there is no more unified nation in spirit than America.

I have had the pleasure of knowing quite a few people from countries that the USA doesn't get along to well with, say Iran. Every Iranian I have ever known has been a great person to know, and likes America. I know a Venezuelan lady here in town that loves this country, she is an immigrant here. Life is better in America.

So yes, whilst I may not agree with his politics, I enjoy the fact that some son of a Kenyan man whom has lived overseas, and travelled around the world with his family has the chance at leadership in America. That is America, we have a son of patriots that fought in the American Revolution running against a son of a Kenyan student and American mother. We also have a hockey mom from Alaska up against a seasoned Senator from Delaware.

 

Sorry but I have to throw this in to the Mix, John McCains ancestor who fought for American Indipendence would today if they tried the same thing be called traitors and possibly terrorists for there actions, dont forget they overthrew the Legitamate Goverment of America at that point in history because they did not agree with the policies of that Goverment

 

To throw in more in the mix, some of his ancestors fought for the Confederacy. The victorious write the history and it is right, whilst the vanquished have their history written as wrong.

 

I dont seriously think that a lady who has a Pakistani Muslim mother, practicing Muslim grandparents and a huge practicing Muslim family who live all over the world would have a snowballs chance in hell after I have seen how unacceptable even partial Muslim heritage is viewed and spun in this nation by so many. God knows what uncle Salim or uncle Ikbal or uncle Karim are up to over there and what information they would find if they looked into it. I know for a fact her uncle, that we have visited many times in Belgium, believes the CIA is the cause of all the worlds problems. Then she has a father who is agnostic with a bit of a Marxist past (oh the follies of a rambling youth )...let alone what views SHE will hold in the end, who knows as we are leaving it completely up to her, Muslim, Christian, none of the above...its her choice...it will be interesting to see what she chooses...Its fine with me as long as she is a good, honest, genuine, healthy adult.

But the way the partisans and press dig every little tiny detail of private lives they can spin as negative points again the person...she would never survive. My rantngs on forums alone would be used against her

 

Oh gawd, those were the days my friend. I think it is a right of passage in youth, then I went from that socialist revolutionary extreme to the other, far right conservative "christian" Then I grew up settled down and realised all those systems are nothing more than slop for the masses.

And I still have religion, but it is a mind your own business personal spiritual journey and out of your face.

 

I read both of your comments and it seems simple. You mention that someone in goverment was scamming the indian casinos and he responded that the indian casinos are a scam themselves for the most part. I do not think he took a party side in that comment.
