I guess McCain did those years of torture for a publicity stunt as well. Seriously why do people follow political partys so blindly. I am not a McCain fan as politics goes, he's far to liberal for me but no matter what he is a man that has earned more respect then any of us can dream of for not only what he went thru in Hanoi but knowing what he was going to go thru more when he declined to leave before others. This man also has been alledged to be a racist over time by the left wing media as well never mind he adopted a child of color.
McCain was actually accused by the liberal media to have a dark skinned "love child" by people that did not know that he and Cynthia McCain had adopted her in Bangladesh. While McCain and his prison guards disagree on the torture, he actually has been a proponent of good international relations with Vietnam.
